The two "ball" joints only turn on one axis each, and both axes are fixed in the same direction. They might look like "balls", but they are really just simple pivots. So it cannot be twisted into a lot of different configurations. I was hoping to have more control over the position of the camera. The clamp mount and the camera mount also pivot, so you get a little flexibility there, but not quite what I expected. On viewing similar products, it seems that none of them have any more flexibility than this one. I'm just saying, it would be nice if there were something similar where the two balls could swivel on the connector between them, so they have different pivot axes. For everything I see, the two ends and the connector between them are all just one solid piece, so no swiveling.The tightening knob on the "ball" joints works well, so once you have it set up, it's stable.

Was expecting cheap pot metal when I ordered. Showed up as a nice price. Clamp works as expected and is made for flat surface or a pole. Arm holds some pretty heavy weight without moving. Everything I was needing and more! (Does not include phone mount I have in my picture)

I paired this with the meknik articulating arm to attach a projector to my bed frame. Has worked really well so far.

Wrong Size. merchant claims clamp is 65 CM it is not. False Advertising.

At the time of purchase, the Amazon listing quoted the distance between the clamp and pad as 65mm. This is false. The distance is 45mm at best when using a flat surface.Do not buy it if the surface you are clamping to is thicker than 45mm.The clamp itself is decent for the money, but I will be returning this product because it did not fit the application I purchased it for.
