I didn’t notice a smell, and the red dye seems colorfast. The buckle is slightly heavy, but looks high quality and from a high end designer. It’s a great value and can really make an outfit. i bought the belt not realizing it was a ratchet belt honestly i didnt know they existed until it arrived it took a little bit or frustration to learn how to take it off and since there was no instructions on how to use it ill tell you when you slide the tab on the buckle that releases it you have to tighten the belt just a little to get it to unlatch the belt is nice and soft and i like it i just wish the gem stones in the eyes of the wolf had different colors to choose from as they are blue i would have chosen red if the option were available

Love the look suits my style. Bad thing is that once it's on it stays. I had to use the bathroom bad so I had to cut it 😭.
