I originally wrote this review with 2 stars and then put it to 3 instead.I've had this for 3 or 4 weeks now and been using it everyday. It holds the duvet great and the seal at the end isn't noticeable or annoying at all. The pattern is good and probably one of the better ones I've seen on Amazon. The other good thing is that it's got a white side and a navy side. I keep the white side on the top and it looks great.The bad... So I thought 300 TC egyptian cotton would be satisfactory. I don't have a heavy duvet, it's pretty airy and nice on its own. This cover though doesn't breathe at all. So I'm in San Francisco in June and the nights aren't hot. It's actually chilly. This thing if I forget to sleep a certain way, I wake up in full body of sweat (I'm not wearing jim jams either, I'm wearing a tank top). I never thought it would be a dealbreaker but it is. I'm buying another duvet cover and maybe will pull this out during cold winter.If you're like me and prefer something that's breathable and you live in a climate that suits that... avoid this.For all other intents and purposes it's great. It's exactly what I expected and ticks all other boxes.

The quality of cotton is very good. The comforter keeps it's place and don't run anywhere.

I don't write reviews... unless there is something extraordinary to point out. The product is wonderful. It looks great, it washes well, without the color running, and it comes out of the dryer without wrinkles. Fabulous right? Yep. But, what made this purchase one I will remember is the people who helped me with the purchase. As most of the world knows, customer service is dead. Just try and get someone on the phone these days. It's a exercise in frustration of: push one, push two, our menu has changed... and your call is important to us. Blah, blah, blah. Yeah right... My call is so important that you can't hire someone to answer the phone for minimum wage. This isn't the case with Royal Hotel Bedding. I had a question that I emailed to them, and did they email me back? No... They called me!!! The wanted to make sure that all of my questions were answered, and that I made a well informed decision with regards to my purchase. And, they gave me a phone number to call them back! When I did call them back, guess what? Alyssa answered the phone! Not a machine. Then she send me pictures from here cell phone so I could really see what I was buying. Who does this these days? No one anymore. If you need bedding, and you can't make up your mind, go with this company. They are there to help you, and that's what they did for me. They helped me, and made sure that I was happy with my purchase. So, to sum it up: I got a fantastic product, I got fantastic service, I got super fast shipping, and I paid a fantastic price for the quality of the product I received. What I I didn't pay enough for was the quality of the service I received. You just can't put a price on that these days. Thank you, thank you!

I ordered both grey and blue, twin size. I've just put them on my boys' beds, so I can't speak to washing or longevity yet. But I will say that the blue one had no corner ties, but the grey one did. So, consistency is a problem. Luckily, it's not hard to add ties to a duvet (use a shoelace, cut to length), which is what I did in about 10 minutes.I have twin sized comforters, and these are definitely twin XL. They are pretty roomy on my comforters, because of that. So maybe I'll have to upsize my bedding so that it doesn't look so extra baggy. However, the pattern and colors are just right for my boys' rooms, and the feel of percale is really nice. (Percale is the "crisp" feeling sheet, that seem to stay cool, not sweaty in the heat.) For just one twin duvet and one sham, I felt the price was a bit high.So, one star off for missing ties, and one off for pricing. Here's hoping they wash well.

This is a wonderful set with one tiny exception. It is really a small full/queen. Our duvet is a full/queen and it bunches up a bit inside and it doesn't cover the top mattress. And the shams are smaller too and the pillows are squashed. I wish we had measured before ordering. On the bright side it is a perfect match for the Meridian Curtains we ordered.We also have the Meridian queen coverlet and shams that we use during the summer. They are perfect!!!
