Works great to keep water line inside a finished wall
Perfect for my situation which involved existing vertical water lines so this elbow allowed me to stay inside a finished wall line. However, I did learn the Aquor Hydrant really should be installed using a short segment of Pex vs using copper - we have all copper in our house. This is because of the required downward angle for the valve to drain properly - this angle places a lot of stress if using vertical copper vs Pex which has more flexibility.

I never got em but I know the company makes good stuff... IDK
I guess this is a good item but the overnight I paid for kept getting pushed back so I canceled the order. The company is good so I'd guess these are good.

Use pipe thread sealant and not teflon tape
This works great on the Aquos hydrant faucet. The threading is a bit large/coarse so use a tube of sealant. The spring lock is compatible with the straight-through fitting that comes with faucet.

Easy install; doesn't need fully tightened down to get the correct angle
Spent quite a few minutes trying to figure out how to get this right-angle adapter twisted to the correct angle, allowing us to angle the water supply DOWN instead of up and to the side. Then, noticed the double O-rings that would keep the water out *without* having to tighten the entire adapter down completely. The instructions could definitely be clearer on that point. We simply unscrewed the adapter by around 1/2 turn to get it pointed down, fitted it onto the water supply and NO LEAKS! Success!

Shortens the overall length of hydrant. I have to size up to make this work.
Shortens the overall length of the hydrant, so if your depth is just right with the straight npt, that comes stock. You will need to go longer.

As advertised!
Great product. Saves space in the wall, and does not need to be tightened all the way down, which gives you flexibility on angle of installation.

This is perfect for a pex to copper connection if you are in a small space and you would rather not solder.

An expensive add-on for installation. This should be included in the kit or an option in the kit.
