Good product for my feeder
This was a good product for my feeder. It brought out birds I didn't realize we had in the neighborhood. To my astonishment, those big seeds brought out chickadees which, among the birds in my neighborhood, seem to like it best. I don't recall seeing chickadees in the years I've been here. Of course, it is winter now so the birds are not able to hide in foliage. These seeds are a good item for the ball feeders whose openings are too large to hold smaller grains like cracked corn or millet.

You can definitely find better quality seed at a local co-op or larger pet ...
You can definitely find better quality seed at a local co-op or larger pet store, and probably for cheaper. But around here, the good stuff is almost always out of stock. Lots of bird watchers in the Pacific Northwest I guess. This brand is usually available at the bigger box stores at a slightly better price, but I also really hate having to make an additional trip to the car after hauling in groceries just for this. I'm lazy. So, I'm happy to pay a little more to have it delivered to the door. This brand does have a fair number of hulls and sticks/stems, and judging by the number of intact seeds I've observed being discarded on the patio by most chickadees before finding a "good" one to take back to their tree, the quality of the seeds aren't fantastic. Very lightweight, and a little dry, especially compared to the aforementioned seed you might be able to find at a specialty pet store. But it all eventually gets eaten, the birds keep coming back, and this is super convenient... so win-win!

The birds Love it!
Love it. I've been buying the Kaylee nut and seed blend on subscription. One month I accidentally bought another brand that was mostly those little seeds that the birds don't like. (I'm blanking on what they are right now. So I bought a bag of these to mix in. The birds love it. I have a ton of birds all the time. It could be the Brome Basic feeder that I finally ponied up for. That thing is a dream. I was losing so much seed to squirrels. So it could be the feeder but I think it's mostly the seed. I filled my feeder yesterday and it's already empty. So, The downside is that I need to come up with money for birdseed. But I think more of this actually gets eaten then the nut and seed blend. I'd worried that the little chickadees and finches wouldn't be interested but I was wrong about that they love it too. Try it for a month. We get so much more birdwatching now. Totally worth it.

Time to enjoy the chirping songs. Also don’t be surprised if it’s all eaten by the chipmunks!!!
I am very surprised to see that it attracts so many birds each and every time when I feed the feeder with these seeds. I just love watching the birds feeding the seeds and the chirpy sound that each birds make at the patio really cherish me every day. I am really satisfied with the product. The only point that is not mentioned in the package is that it also attracts “CHIPMUNKS” and huge “Squirrels” which scares off the birds, also chipmunks collect mouth full of seeds and carry it to their nest, they do that until they empty the feeder, I hate when the bird food is eaten away all the time by the chipmunks. I wish they had mentioned that in the package so that customers are aware of that well before.

Wild birds love it!
The wild birds in my area in Northern California love this food. It only lasts a few days before I need to refill the feeder. It takes a bit more work for the birds to remove the seeds from the hull but this larger seed works better in my feeder. Typical wild bird seed is smaller in size and much of it falls to the ground. With this food, nothing is wasted and lots of different kinds of birds love it. I can find this seed locally for $1 a pound so this is a it more but convenient to order with Amazon Prime.

Good cardinal attractor
For years, we have used a standard seed mix for our bird feeder. Because there are numerous cardinals in our neighborhood, we chose to get this sunflower seed because we heard that was a favorite. The birds love it! Within a day, we saw up to 7 cardinals at a time around the feeder, also a not so common to our area wood thrush, a black crested titmouse, a house finch, and the standard sparrow brigade and wood doves on the ground. Actually, the sparrows are not as successful in emptying the feeder now, because the cardinals are so happy at holding onto the perch for the seeds. This feed mix has been a good success in just a few days!

Very good
The southern CT birds love them, The problem, I get dozens of birds who eat the stuff so fast, it's costing me a small fortune. I'm glad it's winter the birds need it, Im sad it's winter there are only a few species that don't migrate here in the north east.Oh I thought the seeds clumped but it was a poorly designed feeder. Gota better feeder its fine.PS: Was getting mostly finch, wanted a wider variety and tried the cherry feed blend. That did it. I combine the two.

Birds love it!
We live in Northern Utah and the wild birds here love sunflower seeds over everything else we've tried. They make a mess since the birds leave the shell behind. But the birds really like them. In fact, when we get mixes of seeds, they just pick out the sunflower seeds anyway and make an even bigger mess. If you're from this region, we recommend this seed. (Also, sunflower seed shells are easier to clean up than some other seeds that get gummy and stick to the ground.)
