This umbrella is sturdy. It has an odd rubbery coating that i guess is very good for sun. It is compact. The only thing is you'll never be able to close and fold this umbrella up neatly. It wasn't made that way. It is a great umbrella to run from the car but this thing will drip all over you and will not fit back into the sleeve after opening it.

Great umbrella for protection from the sun and the rain! Love the inside. I gave it as a gift and they can't stop saying enough about how sturdy it is and all of the compliments that they get on it. Also it has the auto open and close features that are truly wonderful! I would recommend this item for sure!

A cheerful umbrella until I left it on the bus and it was never turned in. :(

Clouds look like thin vertical tufts, not like picture. Considering painting own scene under but nice idea.

Pretty heavy and darker than I thought

This is a wonderful umbrella to use in the Sun which is why I bought it. We go to the beach a lot and take walks along the river I love having UV umbrella with me at all times. I love the pattern of the clouds in sky when I look up. The material seems very durable and the ribs are made of metal. The only drawback is that it doesn't have a button to open it. But it's only a minor drawback. It was fairly easy to open and it stays locked. To unlock it you just push to release lever and the umbrella slides back down to a neat compact size. The material on the top of the umbrella is an interesting rubber style material. I would think it would do just as well in the rain as it does in the Sun. I have received many compliments on this umbrella every time I use it. I definitely tell people where they can purchase one and my mother-in-law wants one of her own maybe for Christmas. I like the fact that it folds up to such a compact size it fits in my glove box so I always have it when I need it most. Once the rainy season starts I will definitely let you know how it holds up. I don't think I would try to use this and a heavy wind. But then again using an umbrella in heavy wind is generally a challenge and not recommend it anyways unless you want to break your umbrella. I did receive this umbrella at a discounted rate for my honest review. If you're like me I like having some protection you should really try this product I really think you'll be happy.

I absolutely love this umbrella! It is such a happy umbrella, haha...I was able to use it today and received many compliments. With the sky cloudy and dreary, as soon as you open this umbrella, you have blue skies above you....it's fantastic and a lot of fun. It comes with a matching cover that also has the blue sky print, all of which are high quality fabric. When closed, it is very compact and doesn't take much space at all. It is really easy to keep in my computer bag to store and use when needed. I love the design and feel this is a very good product. I would absolutely recommend this umbrella....fantastic.I always rely on honest reviews when making my purchases. I have received this product at a discounted rate, but my review remains honest and unbiased.
