misleading prices...unreasonable!!
I was searching for a good reasonable chopping block, came across this John Boos chopping block, look amazing. However was wondering how come it can cost 50k, which is really unreasonable. I think Amazon need to check the prices before on the site. Misleading.!!!I can buy gold with this amount 😊

Beautiful and solid
Purchased as a gift, which was very well received and compliments any kitchen. The wood patterns are beautiful, and it really holds up... even makes for a conversation piece when displayed on the counter. I recommend.

Nice heavy butcher block

Sad as can be with this.
I wax and oil this once a month. I have no job and plenty of time. My wife tells me I have OCD. No reason for this to crack. I wish they had some kind of trade in for good customers so I could replace this. I paid $400 and now it's $451 Unless you are rich, you should think twice about buying this because it looks like it will crack even when you take care of it. Just an update that obviously nobody from Boos contacted me after this review which adds insult to injury.

When properly taken care of, it will last virtually forever!
I know a lot of people have trouble with these blocks, but the majority of the time it's a maintenance issue. These boards need to be cleaned, oiled, and waxed on a monthly basis at minimum. Treat it right, and it will truly last forever.
