BMC Plastic Army Women - 36pc Pink Female Soldier Figures - Made in USA

Finally army women! To my daughter’s delight. There are a surprising variety of action poses, almost double that of your conventional set. Including medics and stretchers, dog walkers, radio operators and of course firing weapons. The sculpts are really well done and far better than your average bag you’d expect to find molded in durable flexible plastic. They’re not brittle. They won’t break. These are meant to be played with. I love that they come in a spectrum of different colors including traditional US army drab and scale perfectly with vintage Airfix and Matchbox figures. But of course I had to get pink for my daughter (and green for my own collection)!

I bought these because all I’d ever seen were army “guys” and I read a story about how this company said, heck yeah, we’ll make army gals when everyone else said no. They’re great and of course you can get them in lots of colors. I wrote a note to thank them for doing this and I was happy to support their efforts.

Prompt arrival, & well packed. Plastic Army Women are long overdue. The figures are smallish in size, but are well formed, seem to be sturdy, are easy to recognize as female, and available in many colors. I chose a fun purple!

I work for the VA and do a lot of outreach events. I was one of the first Regular Army, not Women's Army Corps. I love it when women veterans come by and I tell them to take a few of 'the girls'. They light up. I had gotten some with the kickstarter campaign and just ordered more. Wonderful idea and very much appreciated by the old and younger gals alike :) Yep, and when those older male veterans pick them up and remark about the little boobs--I good naturedly growl at them "You haven't changed a bit.. put her down" and they do... then we laugh together.

My son loves his BMC army men, so when it was his sister's birthday he wanted her to have pink ones so she could join in on his battles. They look great and are awesome quality. Unfortunately, the bag we received was open at the top a little bit and the stretcher, dog leash and one of the women were missing. My daughter doesn't care but it's kind of annoying, especially since out of all the BMC toy orders I have made, this is the only one with issues.

Purchase these for the army navy football game, love that they have female army figures. Had a great time leaving them all over Washington DC.

Good detail and quality good for collection

It good although they slightly small.

They are great quality.

I bought these for my kids, and now my daughter refers to all soldiers as “she” which is a nice change form the usual GI Joe looking toy soldiers. It has a nice little history card includes too.

The are great figures! The sculpting is good and they fit well with Marx, Timmee and other 54mm (1/32 scale) toy soldiers. There are a lot of poses and the figures are appropriately dressed. This is a great way to get girls to engage with their brothers and friends playing toy soldiers. The price is quite high for what they are, plastic miniatures. The high price will not encourage parents to buy these for their children.
