Worked very well. Only issue was dry snorkel component occasionally getting stuck in the up position and not allowing air into the tube. Was able to clear by filling completely with water and blowing out. This happened to 2 other Cressi youth snorkels. For what it’s worth, it never happened while snorkeling and is relatively easy to fix. Little kids had trouble fixing (hard for them to follow guidance), so adults cleared the tubes.

I bought this snorkel with the Cressi Kids Marea Jr Mask for my 4 year old son. The snorkel worked great, I was really pleased with this purchase as the resort snorkelling gear was less kid friendly. My daughter used the resort gear but found this snorkel easier to use. The mouthpiece is made of really good silicone and seems to be quite softer than some other snorkels. This allowed my son and daughter (age 7) to get a better seal on the mouthpiece. Less salt water in their mouth and a better experience all around. The dry top worked well. I found my son got excited and often had his head at awkward angles which did allow the snorkel to flood but the purge worked as it should. I will purchase one of these for my daughter. She had a lot less fun with the gear she had and the gear she borrowed. It was not as good as this Cressi gear and she kept wanting to borrow my son's gear because it fitted just right and worked so well. I would recommend this snorkel to anyone who is looking for Kids snorkelling gear.

I purchased this to take to Bermuda on holiday hoping it would encourage my 6 year old daughter to try snorkelling as the year before she didn't like it. This snorkel was perfect, did a great job as a "dry" snorkel and the area where the snorkel bends to go into your mouth was very flexible and this made the snorkel much more comfortable for her. Previously she had tried my son's snorkel (also a Cressi) however it wasn't a dry one and the bend area was fixed. I have also now bought my son this same dry snorkel in a different colour.

On the 3rd use the valves in the snorkel meant it was only possible to exhale and impossible to inhale. I was amazed Cressi put their name to a dangerous piece of equipment aimed at children. Do not buy.

The bottom valve did not work properly, so water was accumulating in the tube. Not safe.

Vorab:wir sind gerade in den letzten Wochen unserer 2 Jahre dauernden Zeit in einem kleinen Ort im Süden Tansanias (an der Küste), wo ich als Kinderarzt tätig bin. Dabei sind auch unsere drei Kinder, von denen die Große (8 Jahre) und der Mittlere (6 Jahre) mit Cressi Schnorchel und Maske ausgestattet wurden.Qualität:wir sind seit 2 Jahren hier mindestens einmal pro Woche mit diesem Schnorchel / Set im Wasser unterwegs, entweder im Meer oder im (einzigen) Hotelpool hier in der Region. Und die Ausrüstung funktioniert weiterhin unverändert gut.Details:der Wassereinlaufschutz vom Schnorchel ist enorm hilfreich, er gibt den Kindern große Sicherheit beim Schnorcheln und lässt sie sich auf andere Sachen konzentrieren.Die Silikon-Teile sind auch nach 2 Jahren noch flexibel und weich, und durch regelmäßiges Reinigen auch sauber und nicht schimmelig.einziges Problem:unten auf der Gegenseite vom Mundstück ist ein klitzekleines weiches Silikon-Teil, was als Ventil fungiert und beim schnellen Ausatmen die Luft frei gibt. Dieses Ding wurde in den ersten vier Wochen von Nr. 2 abgefiddelt und der ganze Schnorchel musste neu gekauft werden, weil dann konstant Wasser eintrat.Fazit:volle Kaufempfehlung. Funktionell und Stabil!
