Q: Label on packages does not show part number "ty528mx". how am i suppose to know that i received the correct part?

You look at the item on Amazon once you receive it and the length and with should be the same. If not, then return them. Wrong item sent. 👍

Q: Are they better than stainless steel zip ties?

Better in what way/application? They’re Nylon so there’s an upper temperature limit as compared to metal. They’re plastic so they are an electrical insulator. Metal ties are generally stronger but less flexible. What is your intended use?

Q: Are they suitable for PV use?

I have used them for PV for a number of years now, they seem to hold up well!

Q: Are these "Reusable" ?

They are not made with a release mechanism built into them, so no they are not sold as reusable. But, if you have a tiny screwdriver you typically can lift the metal locking tongue and release them. Or if you cut them right before the locking piece you can reuse them for a shorter requirement next time. Cheers!
