Sally HansenSatin Glam Nail Color ~ Go Gold 01

This color of polish, which I call sort of a dark champagne, is very pretty. It is matte, and I love the very glossy polishes, so this isn't my favorite, but I still like it and think it looks very nice. It does contain flakes of glitter, so it doesn't look totally flat, something I really like. It's not at all gaudy, however, or I wouldn't wear it all since I'm a pretty conservative person. The color is neutral, so it will go with anything, and I really appreciate that since I don't wear the same color of clothes every day, and I like to keep my polish on for a week at a time. I use a base coat, and only one coat of polish, followed by a quick drying top coat. The polish goes on smoothly, at least for me, with good coverage, and no streaks, and it stays for a week, no problem. No chips. If I could only find the same color in a high gloss polish, I'd be very happy, indeed, since I'm pretty addicted to black and paler neutrals. Although I love the high gloss polishes, I can't see awarding this product any fewer than five stars. I knew it was matte when I bought it.

Its a nice color, goes on smooth with only 2 coats for perfect coverage. I forgot to get the top coat though, it would look better with gloss rather than satin finish. The color is lighter than what the photo shows, it seems more champagne color than gold.

Love it! Arrived quickly... Easy to apply and lasts all week. Awesome color.

The media could not be loaded. This goes on pretty well, but it will streak if you aren’t careful. It dries fast and seems to have a matte metallic appearance. It’s pretty and glittery in the sun or under bright lights, but just plain metallic and nothing special in everyday light. Since I’m not in the right light to make it pretty to me, I won’t use this.
