Hello i’m a photographer looking into a color accurate 4k monitor. is the 95% dci-p3 good for photo editing? or should I look for another option?

In short, yes. Unless you want to hunt for a $1000+ display with 100% adobeRGB or spend around $6000 for a 98% P3 display, 95% P3 is about the widest color space you can find and is good for editing, especially if your photos will mostly be viewed online. But if you need to do a lot of printing then get an Adobe RGB monitor

I have a macbook pro 2020 and I connected the usb-c cable to the monitor and there is no picture on monitor. Any suggestions?

Are you using the USB-C cable that came as an included accessory with the LG 27” IPS 4K UHD VESA HDR400 USB-C Monitor, Model # 27UP850-W? If your MacBook Pro 2020 is not detecting the monitor, try disconnecting the cable then reconnect it. This monitor has a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 and a native refresh rate of 60Hz. Check to make sure that the settings for your graphics card are set to output the correct resolution and refresh rate for the monitor...^IFV

With a mac how do i sync the power so it shuts off with the computer? in earlier macos there was an option to have the display power off.

Newer Macs have what is referred to as Clamshell mode. You may want to contact Apple for more detail and instructions about how to use the Clamshell mode with a monitor...^Ivan
