Upgraded and old laptop to run a little better. Was a great addition to the old machine which only had 4g or ram this was 8g.. much better machine now !!! Good quality and speed.

Aufgrund div. Quellen in einschlägigen Foren hatte ich beschlossen, das auszuprobieren. IBM/Lenovo hatten für diesen betagten Laptop einen Speicher-Maximalausbau von 4GB angegeben, div. User hatten von Erfolg mit 8GB berichtet. Eingebaut, angeschaltet, funktioniert! Zusammen mit einer gleichzeitig installierten SSD ist mein T61 somit auch unter Linux zukunftsfähig.

The ease of installation was great and it worked perfectly. Glad I did it. I went from 3 Gigs of memory to 8 Gigs! This and other upgrades made this old Dell really fly!

This product was really pricey considering it’s old technology that is in its waning days, but finding this pair—as challenging as it was—really gave my aging laptop a restart on life. It really helps with boot-up, app launch and improved responsiveness.
