Berryman Products 0807 Tite-Grip Belt Dressing Can 7 oz.

Noticed a loud squeling coming from the belts for about three months now especially in the morning. I am not sure which one among the three belts was causing it. After inspection, the belts were good, correct tension, and pulley was not loose. Initially, I washed off the dirt around the belts with water. The washing fixed the noise for about a month or so but came back. I decided to buy this product and it worked immediately. So far so good after 2 months.

Works pretty good and convenient but really not as grippy as good old-fashioned rosin.

We have garage door openers that have a belt instead of a chain. The idea is it's supposed to be a quieter operation. NOT. From the time it was installed we have had problems with the belt screeching like a banshee especially on higher humidity days. I sprayed this product on the belt and I have not had a single squeak since. It's been at least a month now. I would highly recommend this product for the application noted.

It certainly made my belt quieter but it just squeaks in a different way now. Does not eliminate squeaks.

I have a treadmill with the dreaded belt squeak.....and discovered its actually the motor drive belt causing the squeak. After my last run where it sounded like a world full of mice running with me, I ordered me some of this. 2 small squirts - squeaks completely gone! Super impressed. Will see if they return any time, but if they do, Im ready.

My car has an intermittent squeak on the belt. But I happened to use this product at a time where it had been quiet but decided to just use it before it happens again. First problem, extension tube is not long enough, they give one that attaches to the length of the can which is smaller than I thought. Second, directions say you have to hold can upright while spraying. This was impossible on my car and I would think every car would have the same issue. You can not spray the belts and hold can upright. You have to tilt the can, at least a little, but when you do it doesn't spray all the time. Third, It says to spray inner surface of the belt and don't hit the pulleys or bearings. It is impossible to spray the inner side of belt without hitting the pulleys. The inner side of the belts are attached to the pulleys!! How in the world do you NOT hit them? And again, the extension tube isn't even close to being long enough to manuver that close to the belt, as well. So now I just spray what I can as close to the belt as i could get but the wind of the car running took most of the spray away fromthe belt with some hitting the topside. It now went from not squeaking to causing a louder squeak than was before. I ses that reviewers have said the same thing. But this is probably a situation where the company would blame the buyer for not following instructions correctly.......even though they it's virtually impossible.
