arrived quick.had read reviews on this but in the end its up to you if you think you will like it. I was hesitant because of the rose but wow! its unusual with the chocolate but it goes I cant explain it. Its gourmand but it smells so good! I will buy again for sure. Lasts a long time on my skin.

Mocha Wood
I bought this for myself, I don't really get alot of the coffee/chocolate aspect people are talking about in this fragrance. So if that's what you're looking for, well, I got words for you. To me, Mocha Wood smells like a very prominent mature rose mixed with dark, smooth woods and a touch of sweetness. It has a deep, slightly mysterious vibe going on with it, kind of like how an old, abandoned church might smell. Thereβs a sense of aged wood, faded floral notes, and a quiet sweetness that softens the darkness without making it feel too warm, though I'd still recommend this more for cooler weather than anything. It is pretty feminine leaning imo, but I can see a man wearing it possibly. On my skin this has decent longevity, about 6+ hours, the sillage is around the arms length. Honestly, for the price this is insanely good, and I'm happy with it.

Give it some time
I really didn't like my bottle at first. I wanted to, but some notes were fleeting and others were too prominent, so I stuck it in the cabinet for a month or two , sprayed it out of curiosity and holy goodness came out. Tobacco, rose, vanilla, saffron, and coffee filled the room. The frag-community say this is a clone of Hero by Boadicea the Victorious which does cost $495 a bottle. This stuff smells great and it is nuclear, so do everyone a favor and go easy on the sprays. 2-4 sprays on the hotspots will provide a 3-5 foot sillage bubble for a few hours and the scent sticks around an easy 8 hours on skin and indefinitely on clothes. This is not a run of the mill big-box cologne...It takes some getting used to. If you aren't used to middle eastern style fragrances you might think you've made a mistake at first. I, personally, wasn't ready for the rose and oud notes at first. I thought it smelled a bit feminine, but over time it will grow on you, and women seem to like it when I wear it out to the bar. Maybe because I don't smell like the all the guys wearing Sauvage and Eros.I suggest that get this, let it mature for several weeks, and live with it at home a few sprays at a time for a few months until the scent becomes familiar to you. Once you are familiar you will feel much more confident rocking it in public.Fragrance World hit this one out of the park. If it were more expensive I wouldn't suggest blind buying this, but it's only $20 at the time of this review. I might buy a backup bottle, or two, just incase it doesn't stick around.

Maybe it's just me
Not picking up any mocha or wood. Letting it sit for awhile to see in maceration will change the scent profile.

Solid choco wood scent.
Awesome scent. Smokey wood, dark chocolate. No leather snell thankfully. Has decent lasting power imo. Not very complex, but as long as you like the main notes it doesn't matter.
