I love these pencils. They write really smoothly and have very vibrant colors. The packaging is very high quality and can keep the pencils in them as storage. This could very easily be a really awesome gift or an item placed in a gift basket. These pencils are now "Mom's pencils only!" The kids are not allowed to touch them! I also really like the assortment of colors. They aren't just primary colors. There are the following number of variations on each color (see picture):3 reds4 pinks2 oranges3 yellows5 greens2 turquoise6 blues2 purples4 browns1 white3 grays1 blackI list these because the color variation is more like that of a crayon box than colored pencils. These are awesome and I would buy them again!I received this item for a discount for an honest review.

I think I bought these back in September 2016. I had just started coloring in coloring books & was building my supplies. I wish I had tried them when I first bought them because I am not happy with them. Most of the colors are hard to color with.The colors are stiff when put to paper. Oh well, can't do anything about it now.

I was disappointed upon receiving my Kottle Watercolor Pencils, the lid opened during shipment and a few of the pencil tips had broken off. Once I started coloring with them, I quickly grew to love them. My son and I both enjoy the bright colors! The tips hold up really well and don't break easily which is a plus since my 4 year old was using them too! I love the ability to use a paintbrush, though the included paintbrush was dry and wasn't easy to use. I'll just use a paintbrush that I have already. I still really like the pencils and would purchase again.

The Kottle watercolor pencils are the first set I've ever ordered. I ordered these for my nine year old cousin who's a budding artist. It was fantastic when I gave them to her - she had never heard of watercolors in a pencil form before. The pencils themselves arrived in what can best be described as a triangular pringles can. While at first this packaging seemed excessive, I'm sure we've all experienced that one set of pencils that no matter how many times you sharpen them, the tip always breaks before it is even fully formed. This was not the case with this set. As far as color application, the tip was soft enough that the color flowed easily, yet hard enough to draw a very precise line. Definitely a high quality product. I would absolutely recommend these to friends, family, and other artists. The attached image is a quick sketch my nine year old cousin did to test these pencils. We are both very impressed.

These pencils were easy to use, they are nice to work with. The led is soft so that works both for the good and the bad. The good because it makes it easier to color with and is actually very nice and smooth. The bad thing about it being soft is they break easy, when you need to sharpen them the led keeps breaking so you tend to spend more time trying to sharpen them without them breaking. That is my only gripe about these! Once you color your picture or design you can take the paint brush (which comes with one) wet it and color over it with water and it now looks like you painted it. I also liked how it came in a nice tin with a cover for them. If they didn't break so easily every time I tried sharpening them I would have given this a 5 star review!

The water color pencil comes in a nice tin container and also comes with a brush . there is indeed 36 pencil and they color smoothly. All the colors are nice and viberant you don't really have to push to hard . The brush that came with it was OK but the brissle started to fall off not a lot but a few but you can easily get a new brush. These are nice to color in adult coloring books. And I would recommend these to any artist big or small.

These color pencils work great! I have been needing pencils for my adult coloring books I received as a gift and was excited to try these. They are really smooth and the colors are vibrant. The paintbrush was a little dirty looking and didnt work the greatest but overall still happy with the product. I would purchase these again.

My kids absolutely loved this product. They had fun coloring, but the fact that they got to paint afterwards made it truly spectacular for them. They immediately hung their creations on the fridge!
