Gearbox GX6 Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle

This paddle has a unique feel and response on contact with the ball. This racquet is light, It is softer than you think in it's hitting response so a little more 'umph' then most paddles to get it over with some force is required. This isn't a bad thing because with that you get great accuracy and control. This paddle also has the capability to impart good spin on the ball as well. I am playing and practicing more moving up in levels and now I want a more powerful hitting paddle so I will be changing racquets soon. But for the intermediate player wanting a solid feel and top notched control this is a great paddle. I would recommend getting an edge guard to protect the paddle during play because this is an edgeless racquet and not cheap. I keep hearing the racquet doesn't make you a better player, I say yes and no, but the wrong racquet will make you a worse player. Hope this helps, play hard, train harder and have fun!

Lite, easy on my shoulder. balanced, I like equal weight at top and bottom. Helping my control. Just what I'm looking for.

This paddle has been great, it took me a few days to get a reasonable serve in with it but now a few weeks in this paddle has been impressive. With my stupid big hands I think that I still need to get the handle wrapped. Pro: I get great topspin on my shots. Con: the extra weight has added more stress to my arm.

I've been using this paddle for three years and like it very much,, playing four to five times a week. There is no dead spot at the center of the paddle. Great product.

First if you are trying to decide between the power and the control series, get the power one. I have played with both, and it is better to have the power and not use it, then need it and not have it, as for control you can easily control the paddle. Second it is heavy duty, it resists scrapes and paddle damage as I have used it for almost a year now and it still shoots like new. And finally I am not afraid of paddle bumps with my partner, cause I know it wont damage my paddle. Great power, easy to control, but does transmit the shot up the arm, so you can get a sore shoulder.

I ordered this paddle after much consideration and have been pleased when playing with it. It is extremely lightweight, has no annoying edge to send shots out of bounds, and the surface is rough to help spin the ball. It’s a winner!

IF Gearbox monitors reviews, here is my 2 cents Make this paddle in a 14MM, add some K-29 Grit, keep it edgeless and I will also buy that

I have found this paddle to reduce the vibration felt in the arm. It also offers a larger surface than my previous pickleball paddle. The smooth top without a protruding edge eliminates wild hits.
