Got this to use as an 'HVAC/Heat Exchanger'. Hot water circulation for heating in winter and cold water w/ice for cooling in summer. With the accompanying fan/blower recommended for this unit, it 'Actually Works Impressively Well'! Hooking it up to either a Passive Solar Water Heating System or even Heat Sourced Fires/Stoves/Furnaces/Etc. with K-Type Coiled Copper Tubing, a Low Powered - Low Flow 'DC' Hot Water Circulating Pump and Insulated Hose for where you need that Radiator/Exchanger to be, it Will Transfer that Heat as Hot Air if you Add a 'DC' Powered Blower behind it. Regardless the configuration and allowing your imagination to work with what you have, need or want, it certainly helps reduce winter time bills, helps provide for an independent Off-Grid Heating System and also doubles as an Air Conditioner during summer time's excessively hot days (just make sure your submersible water pump or water feed is "Bellow The Ice" as there is where the coldest water will be and highly doubt one can pump ice through 3/8 - 1/2 inch inside diameter tubing.!). The Radiator itself holds approximately 1.5L (1/3 Gallon) of water and has a Very High Flow Rate. Any Volume Rate Restrictions would come from smaller sized hoses or tubing. It is a beefy (as one reviewer commented) solid piece of aluminum. There are no other materials such as plactics or polymers on or attached to it. The unit measures approximately 14" wide and is 16-1/2" tall. The surrounding welded casing is 2" thick (not counting the 1-1/4" diameter flanges, cap and fittings and the grill itself is 1-1/2" thick. The product quality is rather impressive for the price. CAUTION; *You Will Have To Fully And Properly 'FLUSH THE RADIATOR COMPLETELY OUT' Before Using Or Installing It.! There Was A 'Fair Amount', Actually, 'Alot' Of Styrofoam 'INSIDE' The Radiator Itself that kept 'BLOCKING' the Non-Pressurized Circulation Of the Water Several Times.! I Had To Flush It All Out With An Air Compressor And Then With A Pressurised Water Pump To Get All Of that Styrofoam out as it Kept Blocking My Reducers And Lines. Don't Let That Get Into Your Engine Cooling System or Water Pump.! 'You Have Been Warned'.! Now, That Said; Enjoy...

It fits as well as a less expensive radiator should. I did have to modify one of the mounting tabs on the bottom because one of the tabs on the radiator did not line up. Also, and this is just a very small quirk, the radiator cap, once locked into place is not clocked correctly. The sides of the cap should point towards the left and right side of the car. This one doesn’t. But again, that’s only a smaller quirk and does not affect the radiator’s cooling abilities at all. Otherwise, it actually has the correct diameter inlet and outlet sizes for the engine I have in the car. My previous one had the small diameter inlet/outlet for the smaller hoses the come on a D series engine. Since I’m using a B series engine, the radiator coolant hoses are slightly larger and this radiator fits the hoses perfectly without having to either over tighten the hoses or use another piece of hose as a spacer. All in all this is a good radiator for the price and it will do the job that those high priced units will do at a fraction of the cost.
