So far so good. The library didn't have any books about land snails or GALS. I was happy to learn information even though I can't own one in Canada; the book was full of information and I'm enjoying learning

Contains a lot of information, without being too complicated to read. A very helpful guide, I’d recommend to all new to keeping pet snails.

This book has pretty much everything you would need to know about land snails including information on keeping them commercially and how to humanely dispose of unwanted eggs. While it covers it all, it could do with being a bit more reader friendly and would be beyond an older child in some parts. It is best supported with a more plain English starters guide and there are alternatives that cover this on the market. Get this as a supporting text to another, friendlier and more colourful book.
