Gives completely inconsistent results. I can take an item off the scale and put it back on, then receive a completely different reading, off by several grams. Yet alone decimal places.

I had to return the product the next day I received it. The weighing reading is totally off. Firstly it doesn't start at zeor even after waiting for a couple of seconds and even if it does, it gives totally wrong reading. I weighed same thing (mini cucumber), multiple times after resetting the scale, every time the reading was way off. It would weigh the same product differently 2nd time and the difference was fro 20 to 30 grams-each time. sometimes the digits kept increasing without adding or touching the scale and the reading would be totally off!

The scale I received was highly inaccurate. It indicated a weight of 57 grams for a 500ml glass pyrex measuring cup with 250ml of water in it. (The water alone was 250g...) The scale does offer a calibrate function, but you have to have an item that weighs exactly 100.0g to be able to use it.However, in addition to being inaccurate, the displayed weight would gradually drop by a significant amount with the item just sitting on the scale. One item started out showing a weight of about 35 grams (although it was actually much heavier), then over about 30 seconds the displayed weight gradually dropped to about 30 grams.Also, very light items (a few grams) would not register at all, despite the scale's claimed precision of 0.1g. The display would stay at 0.0 grams. If you put on a heavier item and let the reading settle, then added the light item, the displayed weight would increase.I was a bit surprised given the number of positive reviews this item has received. Perhaps the manufacturer has a quality control issue. I am returning the scale for a refund.

I love this scale so much I bought two, (one for me, one for mom). I love that you can measure food directly on the plate by using the tare function. It's great for measuring food. Be careful because it is very small (I didn't read description and was disappointed when I first got it) but it can still measure food perfectly and is easy to store because of small size. Only issue is if you use a big plate to hold food you may have difficulty reading the scale measurements (because plate will hide screen) so you'll need to move the plate a bit to be able to see the screen. Overall I'm really happy with this product!

Ordered yesterday. Arrived today. Overall, it's a great little product. Very compact, easy to use. Love the ability to tare. I purchased this to monitor my pet hedgehog's weight and it seems to be accurate enough for that purpose.Since it is a relatively small scale, it can be tricky to access the buttons or see the screen if you need to measure larger items. For example, if using in the kitchen, it would measure things in a measuring cup well, but perhaps not in a mixing bowl (due to the size and how it would sit over and block the screen).I am not entirely sure about the durability of the two plastic trays/dust covers. Although they came with a small piece of protective plastic wrap when packaged, it did not cover the edges of the trays. Both of my trays arrived with a small, but noticeable, scuff along a small section. They are not cracked, and will still do well for weighing items and covering the scale when not in use, but it was just an aesthetic flaw that I noticed when unpacking everything.
