A great read.
I have done some DX. There are some skillsI and resources this book mentions that I did not know. Simple and enjoyable to read. I will go back to it several times as a review and resource.

Good read with one clarification
I basically enjoyed DX- the Easy Way and did find a few new tidbits which I was not aware of ( I have been licensed for over 50 year). I do take issue with the statement concerning software: “Sorry Mac users, this is a PC world”While there may be a larger quantity of software available for the PC, there is no shortage of quality Mac software for ham radio. These range from logging programs such as MacLogger DX by DogPark Software and RumlogNG by DL2RUM, which would both give any of the PC logging programs a run for their money, to MacDoppler for Satellite work and dogparkSDR for control of Flex Radios, and DX Toolbox by Black Hat systems for propagation forecasting .In addition there are many programs such as FLDigi, WSPR, and WSJT-X which have Macintosh versions available. These are just some of the programs that I am familiar with, there are many, many others available that I have heard of, but not used.About the only area that I have found lacking is native support for RemoteHams, but even here, the software is easily used with either CrossOver or programs such as Parallels.

Great book on working DX
Lots of great ideas for working DX. By using voice and CW, there is world in Ham radio out there to be explored. Also using different things like split helps to chase that rare DX. It has made me want to pull out my CW tapes!! Simple book to read but good nuggets of truth in there...

I'm New to the hobby and this made it easier
Easy to read and easy to do. As a new Ham advice comes at you as if from a fire hose. While most is meant with good intentions it can all become overwhelming. This book makes it easier to move forward. There is plenty of time later to over complicate things.Thank you! Good read!Frank KJ7LAN

A really good introduction.
A very readable introduction to amateur radio DX operating techniques. Lots of common sense advice and operating tips for any ham interested in improving their chances of working that elusive and distant DX station. Recommended reading. Mark - G0ACQ.
