After using the ZeroDerm shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion for over 14 months now, I thought I would do a full review on this hidden gem! This review is for the ZeroDerm line product line only from Ginger Lily Farms. I purchased this from Amazon in the gallon size for each product and it’s literally lasted my partner and I over 1 year. We just refill our pump bottles with the gallon size. We repurchased the body wash but still are working on the first gallon bottle of the other products. FEATURES: Everything from this brand is cruelty free & vegan! I haven’t tried other products from this brand but opted for the ZeroDerm line because it is fragrance free and allergen free — I have super sensitive skin. It is also phthalate, sulfate, and paraben free. No artificial colors or additives. SHAMPOO: 5/5 I have long wavy 2B hair that is super thick and my partner has short fine 1A hair. We both use this shampoo and it works great on both our hair types. It’s not overly stripping and lathers great. I like that it has aloe and flaxseed because that’s great for hair in reducing frizz and making it smooth. No parabens, fragrances, and SLS which is bad for your hair too. Will continue to purchase! CONDITIONER: 5/5 My partner has pretty oily hair so he doesn’t use conditioner, the shampoo is enough for his hair to stay soft. I have longer hair and work the conditioner through the ends and let it sit for 1-2 minutes as I wash my body. I absolutely love this conditioner! It has Vitamin E, Aloe, Flaxseed, Shea Butter, and seed oils which are great for your hair. It doesn’t make your hair oily and leaves it smooth and silky. It’s one of the few conditioners that is so gentle I can even use it on my skin for shaving. I use it in place of shaving cream for shaving anywhere on my body and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin like normal shaving creams do. And no razor burn! Will continue to purchase! BODY WASH: 4.5/5 Great non-scented velvety body wash. Easily gets off dirt, grease, mud, etc and does not strip the skin. I have dry skin and my partner has oily skin and this wash works for us both because it is oil free and doesn’t strip the natural oil off your skin. The only thing I will say is that this is BODY wash, not face wash. I made the mistake of putting this on my face and got it in my eyes, and my eyes were burning— so don’t do that, it is not tear free! Super gentle on the rest of the body including intimate parts. Will continue to repurchase! BODY LOTION: 3.5/5 This lotion is pretty lightweight and works great on body, hands, and face. My partner doesn’t use lotion often but will occasionally use this in the winter and states that he likes it because doesn’t make his arm and leg hair feel weird and sticky like other body lotions do (whatever that means?) and likes that it isn’t scented. I use this lotion on my body after shaving and it is great and doesn’t irritate the skin. I’ve also used it on my face and it was fine but I prefer to use special face lotion with ceramides, so this lotion is mostly for body use. I like this lotion and think it’s great for summer use for me, but in the winter I look for something thicker because I have really dry skin. If you don’t have dry skin, this lightweight option may be enough for you. If it was slightly heavier and had ceramides, I would rate it higher Will repurchase but only a small bottle for my partner to use in winter.

5 stars but.... The bodywash by Ginger Lily Farms Bontanicals brand is FANTASTIC! I've had no issues whatsoever. However this was my error I ordered the Hand Soap instead of the Body Wash as the labels are basically identical in appearance as shown in my photo and I did not realize at the time. The list of ingredients in both are almost the same. The bodywash has one more ingredient than the handsoap. This could make a difference to sensitive skin and since I want to continue loving this product and the way that it works on my skin I am reordering at my expense. Sigh.

As a mom of two small children who love baths, gallon body wash is a smart move. I like to mix essentials oils into each bath to add some scents. But this, although labeled unscented, has a scent of its own. It doesn’t smell bad but it just isn’t that great. I also don’t like that it’s white in color so it clouds the bath water. Outside of that, it’s a great alternative to a brand I used for years whose prices have skyrocketed. It’s gentle on the skin and moisturizing. You will feel clean for sure after using in a bath or shower. I’ve ordered a few times and will continue to support.

Obviously I like this body wash. I’ve bought 20 gallons since 2021, lol! I actually like scented body wash so I use this soap to make my own. A few years ago I realized the scented shower gel from a well known store (BBW) caused my eczema to flare up in the winter. I also became increasingly frustrated with the price increases so I set out to make my own. I needed an unscented liquid soap without Sodium Lauryl Sulfate because that was my eczema trigger. I also needed some skin safe fragrances. I discovered this soap on Amazon, and after reading the reviews, I purchased it and a pump. I also sourced fragrance oils for soap making. They can be purchased on Amazon or from a variety of candle and soap suppliers. My favorite one is Midwest Fragrance Company. Look them up online. They have a large variety of quality scents. I have been mixing up my custom scented shower gel for three years now and am happy to report that my eczema has not flared up from my shower gel. My skin does not get tight and dry from it. I even wash my face with it. I pump the body into smaller soap bottles. A variety of soap bottles can be purchased on Amazon or from soap and candle suppliers online. My recipe: 1 milliliter of fragrance oil (I use one mL droppers) per 2 ounces of body wash. Shake well. (I usually make 12-16 ounces of body wash.) Less or more fragrance oil can be used depending on the strength of the scent and the recommendations from the supplier. After the fragrance oil is added, the body wash will thin considerably. It’s fine to use, but if you want to thicken it, consider buying Crothix Liquid Thickener. I buy mine on Amazon. I add one capful of it to 16 ounces of my scented body wash and shake well. Sometimes I stir it up with a skewer because it will settle in the bottom and then shake again. Hope this helps inspire all of you makers out there! I absolutely love making my own custom scented shower gel!

It's body wash in a gallon container. That should be it, unfortunately I can't wash my face with it. Rinsing for what felt like forever still resulted in stinging eyes as soon as I opened them.

If I had an Airbnb I would put this in every one of them. I didn’t think this simple purchase would help my home shower feel so spa like but the experience is top tier. Fragrance free so my sensitive and dry skin loves it, super moisturizing-I haven’t worn lotion in forever and when I briefly ran out of DermZero I immediately noticed the difference with our other body washes. I just bought my second bottle, our household averages 3-4 showers a day and one bottle lasts us about 6 months (amazing value for money). The lather is sooo good and leaves your skin super soft. When guests are over you dont have to worry about any fragrance sensitivities or preference and I swapped out the body wash for the kiddos to this too. The bottle comes sealed so no spills in transit. I chose to just add a pump but for aesthetics you can definitely use it refill your favorite bottles.
