This is a great little kit, packaged up nicely. I bought it strictly to have on hand small amounts of many colors of wool that I might use for accents on a piece but which I don't need to keep a huge amount in storage (yes folks, just 2 ounces of wool takes up a lot of space and is way more than you might think!) PROS: Snips are sharp and functional. Decent needles. 2 nice needle holders (which also have a needle in each). An awl. Finger guards (please don't count on these folks, I find it silly that these are even made at all - felting needles are VERY sharp and will go right through). A very good selection of colors. A decent amount of each color. This is real wool - check my photo of the burn test. I say this as a pro because at this low price, one might expect an attempt to pass off acrylic/polyester or a blend as wool, but this is the real deal. ... and... For some bizarre reason, a single mini glue stick. Not sure what that is for, but it will fit my glue gun so meh? CONS: The kit box is nice, but it is not very durable, don't expect this one to stand the test of time unless latched and unlatched very carefully and infrequently. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (if you are newer to felting): You need to get some core wool - if you try to make your figures using entirely the colored wool you will use that wool up fast and it will be quite expensive. Get yourself some cheap core wool to make your base figures with.

Purchased for my daughter she loved it! Comes with many pieces and she has been busy creating since she opened it!

I'm new to needle felting and this kit was perfect to get me started and now I'm completely hooked on it!

Though you do get a decent amount of wool and colors, there is human hair in the bags which is really gross and makes me sketched out on the whole product.
