5 yours-mine stars! Loved this book!
5 yours-mine stars! Loved this book!"Sharing a space with Isobel did strange things to my heart - and my body in general."Lennox McRae and Isobel Fitzroy have known each since they were children, as they have a family connection. An unexpected frisson and a stolen kiss when Isobel is 16 and Lennox is 18, and about to join the army, haunts them both for four years. When Lennox is back home for good, he's finally able to do something about it, but the path to their HEA is pitted with misunderstanding and not a little hotheadedness!"A whomp of heat hit me. The attraction I'd been almost sure was one-sided turned into clear, keen chemistry."Who knew that Lennox McRae would be such a dirty talker?! He's got all the makings and promise of being a commanding clan chief. From the moment the spark lit between them as teenagers to when they finally meet properly again as adults, the sizzling chemistry between them was a tangible thing. Lennox really stole my heart with his determination and solid intentions toward Isobel, and how he made her feel like the most beautiful and precious thing in the world to him. I loved his devotion to her."Isobel was a rollercoaster ride, and I could barely hold on for dear life. I'd break stuff for her. I'd tear myself to shreds for her."Isobel was a firecracker of a woman. She's pretty tough, independent and determined to thrive in a male-dominated world. I loved her drive and her passion. My heart hurt for her vulnerability, but Lennox raised her up and made her realise her self-worth and what she meant to him.I started this series with the second book but so glad I've caught up now, especially as we meet Blayne properly in this story. I can't wait for the final book now, which is his story.

This is a must read! Their Dad’s stories were brilliant but these kids are even better! 🖤 I refused to go into the new year without reading this and once I started I didn’t stop! Yes, yes, and yes!
Now this is a book to enjoy!I want my own Nox! He was amazing all around. And so was she. The way he knew she was it for him and tried to convey that to her from the beginning with the "yours" and "mine" stuff had me swooning. Seriously, can I go to Scotland and get my own Nox? Because I will absolutely travel from the US to find a man like him!Really, I loved all the characters. All of them were well written and drew me in. And the racing on her part and her support of him with his family and setting them straight was beautiful. And then to have him finding a place for her garage so she could do what she loved even though he had some big shoes to fill eventually.. swooning all around!I even loved Sebastian and his friendship with Skye. Though you could tell there was something between them, you weren't 100% sure what until the ending.I didn't understand what Sebs issue with Artair was when Seb was in the military though. I didn't quite follow that in this book. But he definitely didn't like Artair. But the look of Skye and Artair in this book was hot all on its own! Their story will be explosive as well no doubt!Such a great read all around. I can absolutely picture the setting and the characters and everything. Such a book hangover after reading this one. I want more of them and all the Scots! 💙💙The only thing I didn't like was the so called epilogue. It is NOT an epilogue. It's a preview for the next book. Totally now what an epilogue is supposed to be, but whatever. I'll forgive the author because I loved the story so much.Definitely looking forward to the next book!Oh. And for the record, I'm in the USA and loved the writing of the book too. Though at times I really had to think about what they were saying since the words aren't American English. Hehe. But I loved that aspect too since it really set and sold the story being in Scotland and all. 💙💙

Loved it!
Found these through a TikTok video offering free books for a short period. Hopped on the chance and was so glad I did! Devoured them and will be reading the rest of her books as well! One of my new favourites!

Good choice for Smuttember
I started reading this book back in September after BookTok had exploded over ‘Chad’ calling women out for reading smut books. Well I got bogged down with some other reads that had a deadline and just now got around to finishing this book.My rating for this book is 4.5The spice I would say is a 2-3.This is a story that is not enemies to lovers really, more of the characters resisting what they think they are feeling and believing in their head. There is a hard headed moment when these characters are younger, and then the story jumps ahead 4 years, creating a playing field full of misinterpretations and miscommunications. By 1⁄3 of the way through the book, these characters were already so drawn together, but when they did come together it was spectacularly done! Nox didn’t know what he wanted to do when he finally had Isobel, he had thought of so much he wanted to do, then he got mad at her and they didn’t talk for angsty days and I wanted to cry!So, I enjoyed it all around. And will be moving on to the next one!

Great Scot!
Who doesn’t love a manly Scot?Words of this story weave emotions that carry the reader through a complicated mind of a young woman that believes she lacks what it takes to be the one for the man she loves. He of course knows that she is the only one for him and set out to prove it to her.Ready for your heart to fall in love with this characters and enjoy the ride of emotions and humour.
