Nice little tool.
I had a WoodRiver pen parting tool that I had sharpened down to a nub and was not able to reach as far as I needed.I purchased this little guy to replace it. I used it to shave down the inside of hollow box forms once the bulk of material has been removed by my EZ Woodturning hollowing tool.It works very well and has maintained a sharp edge for far longer than my WoodRiver tool. I haven't even sharpened it yet and it's be a month of frequent use. However, it's alittle flimsier and will start to chatter once you've gone past the tool rest about three inches.I'd purchase this again without a doubt.

High quality turning tool
This is a high quality turning tool that cuts like a hot knife through butter. I needed the thin parting tool for a special project I was attempting. The project flopped, but the parting tool was not the reason for that. It works very well and cuts through a lot of wood in a short amount of time.

. Very flimsy
The tool bar is very flimsy and light. It doesn’t take Busch to bend the tool car. The bar could have been built stronger and left the 2” or so of the top thin not the entire car

Micro parting tool
this is a quality tool. It is very small and can be used for very delicate cuts for small projects.

Sorby Chisels are the Best!!!
I bought this thin parting chisel for some very specific uses such as design grooves in bowls/pens/candlesticks, and also to make "bowl from a board" bowls on my lathe in lieu of using a bandsaw for cutting angled rings. Though this is a HSS blade, it cuts like it is carbide tipped. Robert Sorby lathe chisels are just better than any other HSS chisel I've ever used. This beautiful tool further reinforces my opinion.

Bent cutting a ring on a economy bowl
Very sharp I was impressed, i cut one ring on a economy bowl but when I tried cutting the next ring I got a catch and it bent up from the handle about 2 inches.

Great tool.
Great for smaller turnings. I use it to cut the grooves in honey dippers, parting off etc. The usual

Weak steel
Product came bent. And bent more first time I used it. Not what I expected.
