Oh boy. This is it. I don't know why I've never tried it before. Cut the exact length you need. It is plastic coated, so, twisting takes a bit of an effort because it's slippery, but honestly it works and the wire inside is pretty strong. If you are using with plants you'll want to be careful because you could cut into the plant - I used on some cords that needed some taming behind something. I would love to find this in white and black color options. The cutter works perfectly every time so no need to hunt down a wire cutter. Probably more than I will use in years so worth the investment. win/win in my book.

The reel and being able to measure the size of the piece that you need is so nice! The even better part is the very easy to use, very cool snipping feature that is built into the spool holder - sijmply pull down, put the size of the piece that you want into the middle of the metal and you hear a quick easy snip and have the size of the piece that you want in your hand. So much better than having hundreds of little pieces of ties all over and in one bag - this product allows the ties to be all on one spool for a no mess no fuss easy to store product! Can't reccomend it enough!

This broke on the first day of use. First the plastic pieces failed and then I dropped it by accident about 3.5 ft and it split open completely so that the twist tie part fell out and made the outside useless aside from the cutting part. now I take the ties from the other end which has been a pain as I have the cut the tie backwards and undo about 2x the amount vs how it should be from the front where it just comes out of the hole. I would buy this again if they used a bit more quality plastic to hold it together. this should never of broke

Used reeled twist tie before, but it wouldSpin back into reel quickly! But, this one instantly bends back preventing backlash. I use these to loop around the Daylily fan to attach an info marker to seedlings. I use info label to catalogue seeds of pods of seedling. Thanks for the wonderful product!

The pictures are misleading. It's too good to be true and you get what you pay for. The wire is as thin as hair and needs to be wound at least 2x or 3x to hold. Don't waste your money . $7 is not worth my time returning to Amazon. I suggest you invest in a few more dollars for a "heavy duty" twist tie.

I mostly love this. It works great for everything I've used it on. I use this a ton in my garden and it's taken me most of the summer to get to the end of it. The only thing I don't like is sometimes the wire gets twisted up on its self inside the spool but it's not a big enough deal to undo how great it is otherwise. Would recommend for sure!

The wire tie is great, the cutting portion works good. The plastic holder will not stay locked shut, thus the wire comes unwound and makes it hard to continue to pull out a section with out it getting tangled up.

Used to tie up my plants to bamboo stakes and train espalies. Heavy duty use and easy to use clipper on the package. Always tote this to the garden. Does not degrade in our sun and heat.
