My 9 years old, 20 pound (2 shots of insulin a day), diabetic cat had got to the point she could barely walk and only for a few steps before having to lay down. Her back feet splayed out to the sides when she walked and she could barely stand. X-rays showed little to no space between the bones on her spine. She was on pain pills that made her sleep pretty much all the time. I started researching for something online that might help her (because the vet only recommended the pain meds) and found glucosamine. Great product! Remember though, that you need to follow instructions, administer properly and it will help your aging pet's aches and pains. It can upset their stomach if you give them too much, so be cognizant of dose. My aging kitty has been using this for several months and it really started to kick in about a month ago. It seems to take time to build up in their system. He is walking better and without the pain he previously exhibited. He has bit more spring in his step. I give him three pumps of this every day in a soft food for a treat and you better believe he waits for it. He loves the bacon flavor of this. Definitely recommend this for older pets.

bought this for my 11 year old cat, as she hasn't been on it very long so i do not know if it's helping her yet or not i can tell you she has "taken to it" quite well so getting it into her is not a problem. i give her one "pump" twice a day. i'm hope it helps with her arthritis in her hips. if i see a significant improvement i will re edit this review.

About 6 months ago my baby boy, a 7 year old 18 pound min pin/Manchester mix, had his arthritis in his back act up. He couldn't sleep through the night, couldn't go on walks, go potty, or play with his little sister. He was crying out in pain constantly and didn't want to do anything but curl up in the corner. This went on for a couple days before we got him an x ray at the vet...and that's when the hard part started. This potion has changed my dogs life. She has been limping for almost a year. After several visits to the Vet and several 100 dollars, still no diagnosis. I decided to go Holistic instead of other options and found this product; it has changed my dogs life! She is close to 5 years old and shouldn't be having these issues, but here we are. The vitamin itself helps my animals but the bottle leaks out of the spout. Each one that I've bought has leaked and I've lost so much of it. It was all over the bottle before I washed it off.
