These gloves are comfortable and have good grip, once the initial sheen has worn off. They are quite tight-fitting, so make sure of your glove size. Also note that these have open finger tips on all fingers. Other versions are available with three fingers closed or with all fingers closed (although I like to have at least thumb and first finger open, to help with untying knots and using touch screens.

Ordered size L to replace my old Gill L size gloves. Sadly the new L size fits more like M, tight and way too small.

I was introduced to these gloves through sailing but I'm actually a long distance hiker. I've since had two pairs. Each has shown excellent durability. Great for protecting from insects, sun and falls, plus substantial wind and rain protection. They are my three season choice. Nothing better!

Looked really good upon arrival, but after one month of use it started to rip. If the same material was used on the finger part without use fabric on the backside of the finger that might help it to last longer.

I have the XX-Large, a little snug at first, but fit better after a day's use on board. I did find the fingers too long for me so cut about a half inch off each. They trimmed easily and if there is any fraying I can apply a bit of heat. Very pleased with them
