Exactly what I needed
Currently on a 3 month business trip and I usually wash things in the sink of the hotel when I can. So far, used this once (3 bras, 2 pair of underwear, and 3 pair of socks) and I was presently surprised. Filling, agitating, dumping, rinsing, and somewhat wringing all in one bag is wonderful. Another quick wringing after coming out of the bag was needed but after drying, everything was wonderfully clean. So far I am loving this product! I will update if anything happens in the next 3 months.*Update: This little thing was so useful for the 3 months I used it, about once a week. I never used it for large items, but for small items I had no complaints.

Great for Backpacking
I bought this for my long term camping trips. It's perfect because it doesn't take up a bunch of space and it works actually pretty well. I can basically wash all my clothes with a sink. It's fairly sturdy and very easy to use. Would recommend.

Nice but not strong enough...
I enjoy this product but it's not very durable...after only 2 washes, the threading on the blue bottom part started unravelling causing it to leak a little. Perhaps I'll duct tape it once it gets to be too much, but right now as long as I keep it in my bathtub while soaking, I can deal with this inconvenience.UPDATE:So it's been about 4 months since my 1st review and it's pretty broken now...the handle at the bottom came off and the whole blue part is unravelling. I only use it once a week for small items like undies, socks, washcloths...I'm super disappointed that it didn't last longer. I still plan on using it until the whole bottom falls off (cuz I'm too broke to buy a new one), but it has to stay in my tub since otherwise it leaks everywhere.

Requires some effort and time, but can work if you don't expect washing machine results
I bought this for a month in Europe and it actually worked decently well. I'd put my clothes in the mesh bag, put the mesh bag inside the plastic bag, then fill it with water and detergent, close the bag and shake it around for a few minutes. I also found it was good to open up and agitate it with my hand my thrust and spinning the clothes so everything got sudsy. This was definitely a workout and I usually got water on me because the bag wouldn't seal that well during the shaking, or doing the arm-agitation I'd splash it all over me, so I would really recommend doing it in your bathtub or shower before you plan to shower anyway. But this did seem to work. When I dumped the water out, I could see it was tinged with the filth it was washing out, and then when I rinsed the clothes in the mesh bag off, and then put them in clean water for a "rinse cycle" I wasn't seeing that same discoloring, so I think it was getting dirt out of my clothes. They smelled nicer too, although definitely nowhere near as nice as going to a laundromat.I would say the biggest challenge with something like this is drying your clothes, which isn't this thing's job. If you couldn't get your clothes to dry well, washing them was sort of useless. I had one experience where this must've been a not well ventilated hotel room and the clothes, which I hung on hangers, just stayed damp for like two days. That left them not smelling good and not wearable. But when I stayed in a hotel that had a towel drying rack, I used it to wash and dry my clothes and it worked great. I did multiple batches with my Laundreez thanks to the towel drying rack.So just know that this can't possibly replace an actual washing machine, and to get the most out of it, you really need to put in some elbow grease and spend some time. There was a batch that I did quickly and they didn't smell as nice - you have to give the clothes enough time to get really clean. Drying them is a whole separate issue.

Meh
I'm rather disappointed. I purchased this a while ago and stored it away until I needed it. The very first time I used it I used it for one clothing item, with half the max of water used. As soon as I put water in it I noticed quickly (like I no less closed the top of the bag to begin scrubbing the clothing/ shaking the bag) before I realized a steady stream of soap and water coming from the bottom of the bag. When inspecting, I found that the leaking crack in the blue portion of the bottom of the bag (for whatever reason is different material then the rest of the bag that is clear, thick and heavy duty) was just the biggest of many tiny breaks in the material. Largely disappointing.

Smart Design.
I travel tested this product over Europe and Asia and love it! It will save you from over packing as well as laundry expenses. The twist cap is what prompted me to buy this, it's not so awkward to use in the sink and you can see your wash from the clear plastic while it's soaking. Construction is solid but there is minor leak in the creases of the fold because of the stiff material so it's not completely waterproof and the blue seams gets this annoying fuzz. Overall, it's good for the price and it seems it'll last long. I'd highly recommend this over the Scrubba.UPDATE:After over a year with this product, the adhesives holding the bottom blue part is starting to wore out so it'll collect water even if the bag looks dry (squeeze it and you'll see), it is still usable though. I still give it a five stars since it paid itself for the savings in laundry services.

a great way to rinse salt and sand from swimsuits at ...
Wow, what a cleverly designed bag. I've used it at home to pre-soak a few items. It's convenient and leaves my sink free for other uses. I plan to use it at the beach to carry valuables. I put my iPhone in the Laundreez and unscrew the cap to connect my earphones. Also, a great way to rinse salt and sand from swimsuits at the end of the day. And if the suits are still damp when it time to pack, I'll leave them in the Laundreez and throw in my suitcase.Laundreez Portable Clothes Washer
