Worked well for about a year and a half after that the battery died. don’t know how to replace it. Don’t know if it can be open to replace it. you can still use. It just won’t tell you the temperature anymore.

I got one of these because my husband got one and i liked the temperature feature. I have hot tea water available from a coffee machine working in a cafe so i wanted to keep an eye on the temp of my tea so i know when its drinkable for me. Out of box the tempurature feature was fine. I filled it with piping hot tea water and a tea bag and flipped it over to steep. Upon flipping it back it goes between 000° and 210°. A couple times it waffled to 165° or a little under when i was playing with the cap off. I dont know if this has an upper temperature limit but it seems 210° would be it. 8 hours later my tea is definitely piping hot still but the cap is still not registering properly. Still mainly 000° and sometimes flashes on without me touching it. I dont know if water got into where the battery is, which shouldnt be an issue considering its made for liquids. Or if its just being defective because of the temp. I will see how it is in a few days. My husbands one the screen stopped working after a couple days and then started working again. So we'll see what mine does.

It holds my coffee hot a long time the only thing was the temperature reader gave out very soon after I bought it. I was disappointed because I really liked this cup. Actually bought 2 and they both have out very fast. I'm not sure if I would recommend it. It does hold cold drinks but mostly use for coffee It really spill proof.

Its a really nice product and the color is beautiful. It is tall and slim and fits in a car cup holder, however you won't be taking it along on car trips. It is not a travel mug! I didn't realize that when I purchased it. You cannot drink out of the thermos while you're driving. The metal rim is too hot and it would spill all over you.
