Great dimmer switch - works with LEDs!
This thing is great! It was super easy to install and it's a great value when considering the big orange store. I opted for this one over the ones that have a slide and on/off switch just because it's a more natural behavior to flip/slide up and down than flip left/right with sliding up/down. I really like that it slides all the way off. Again, it's simply a more natural muscle memory thing. Anyway, I originally had LED lights in that would not dim with this dimmer switch (bummer), but, in anticipation of this suspicion, I bought these at the same time as buying this switch... Linkind Dimmable A19 LED Light... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08L36HXY3?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_shareand they worked perfectly! I can't say that this will work with all dimmable LED lights, but it worked with those I mentioned, despite only having halogen and incandescent on the package - I took a chance and it works. If I had one criticism, it would be that the distance of the slide could be a tad bit longer...the slightest of movements makes a big difference in the lights output/brightness! But, I'm getting used to it. There's no flickering, buzzing, or any other abnormalities. I'm pretty sure I'll be buying more of these in the future. I'd have to replace all my bulbs with dimmable ones, but, such is life.

Works great with LED bulbs
Installed 2 of these in about a half hour. They both with great and are definitely compatible with dimmable LED bulbs. Great value for the price!

The perfect dimmer switch
I have replaced other types of dimmers with this particular model. I like its quiet operation and the fact that it doesn't require a special wall plate (very important where there's an existing dual plate, such as a dimmer next to a fan switch). This switch allows you to disassemble things and use just the switch itself (with handle). As a Master Electrician and an electrical engineer, I am very particular about the components I select for any electrical project. This switch is my top choice for dimming switches, unless I am installing a remote control system. The particular installation for which I bought this switch had used a rotary dimmer. That rotary required you to push in to shut off or turn on the light. This created an annoyingly loud click (which wakes people in other rooms, thus defeating one reason for using a dimmer in the first place). The rotary switch also wasn't easy to push in. Rather than just slap or swipe the switch on your way out of the room, you had to stand there and push it just right. Not acceptable! Thus I replaced it with this particular switch, which has always peformed flawlessly. The local hardware store stopped carrying this replacement sliding switch in ivory (it was available in white only). And Home Depot didn't have it. I checked a couple of other places, and then thought maybe Amazon would have it. Sure enough, Amazon did! What I'd really like to see is the switch sold without the backplate assembly (which I always throw away, and which isn't needed for a new installation if you install a standard switchplate). The only difference between the white and ivory is that little switch handle. Rather than have a product for which you throw away a large plastic assembly, I'd rather have a product for which you throw away just a little plastic handle (keeping the ivory or white one, depending on your color scheme).

For under $10 one of the best upgrades you can make - simple, modern, sturdy and works as it's meant to!
Exactly what we were looking for - working GREAT after about 2 months. We needed a few switch replacements as I was going nuts without dimmers, all of the lights are LED and we wanted to be able to dim, and do on/off with one swipe (not a swipe and a switch, which is what we originally got.)These do that PERFECTLY - on our 3 locations with LED's we have no flickering and no humming/noise. There is a slight resistance at the end when you get to the bottom and then it needs a very light push to turn off, it's a quick and easy function and we love that there is no switch. Just take note if you have it very low you may miss turning if off completely, depending on how bright your lights are!Simple plastic surface but looks sleek and modern and we have it with the Lutron face place as shown in the photo. Looks more expensive than it is, while it's still white plastic at the end of the day it's the best you will find in this price range.Zero problems with installation and everything fit securely, worked perfectly with the plate and worked even in one of or spots that was very tight with not much room to work in. Sturdy and secure once finished, and you can see how it looks in the photo below :)

Great dimmer compatible with Feit LED bulbs
We wanted to replace our dimmer switches and we wanted to make sure that the new dimmers would be compatible with Feit LED bulbs that we would be soon converting to. I was slightly confused about the model number as the Feit page lists Lutron S600 dimmers as being compatible, but this model is S600H-WH. "S600H-WH" is listed on the outside of the package, but inside "S600" printed on the switch. The "H" indicates that this comes in retail plastic clamshell packaging and the "WH" indicates that the visible parts of the switch are white in color. Inside the package, there are screw-on wire connectors for connecting the switch to the circuit. The package does not include a faceplate, but this is probably for the best since light switches are often installed in various groupings.Overall, we've been very happy with the operation of these dimmers. There generate no noise during operation and there is no audible clicking sound when turning them on or off. We are using these to switch sets of 2 or 3 recessed lights. They worked great with either 65 W incandescent bulbs or the 13 W LED bulbs that we replaced them with (or a mixture of the two types of bulbs).
