Sailor Moon Short Stories 1

My daughter became obsessed with Sailor Moon last Easter when she got the first dvd set in her basket. She marathoned the entire first set in the series in 24 hours. This year, since she also loves to read and loves comics, we decided to get her her first manga and she loved it! Now, like the dvd's, we are going to definitely need to purchase the other books for her in this set as well.

I chose 5 stars because the product itself is excellent. I've purchased all the other Sailor Moon manga at Barnes and Noble (which I could walk to from where I live, it's that close). I liked that Barnes and Noble did not put barcode, nor any other, stickers on their books. I tried Amazon to save some money, have it come directly to me, and receive the item earlier. I ended up paying about the same price as I would at Barnes and Noble (due to shipping and handling). The sticker bothered me because I am more of a Sailor Moon collector, and I like my collectables to have little to no damage or unnecessary content applied to them. I ended up carefully peeling off the sticker (which took a while because it would only come off in small bits at a time) and even had to use some Goo-Gone to take off the remaining glue. Otherwise, if you're not as neurotic as I am and stickers don't bother you, buy this item and support the comeback of Sailor Moon! p.s. the NEW Sailor Moon anime premieres worldwide in December 2013 ;-)

I am happy with the outcome of this purchase. The condition of the book came as expected, shiny and new. There were no nicks on the spine, bends at the cover's corners, fingerprints or dust. It arrived to me within the expected delivery date. All my expectations were met. This was a good buy for me. 5 stars.

Once you know the whole plot, it’s fun to read the short stories! Personally, I think #2 is better than #1 but they’re both good.

This is actually a great release. Its supposed to be more humorous than the main plot, that is why these are literally entitled "short stories". These side stories are a breath of fresh from the seriousness of the main storyline, they're all very humorous. Each inner senshi has her own story with the exception of Mars and Venus and one with Chibusa and Hotaru.

My book was covered in stickers, as Hastings is known for. At first I was disappointed, but a little rubbing alcohol took all the sticker residue off. The book was practically new! The spine was not cracked too bad and the book over all was very clean! A great Deal!

The short stories are hilarious! I'll admit I haven't finished this because Ami-chan told me to stop reading manga and study :< how did she know?? That's an IQ of 300 for you!

I loved it!! i'm a big sailor moon fan and the quality of this product was super great! I would highly recommend other sailor moon fans to purchase the whole set! It looks great on shelf and a great collection to keep!

I bra skick

If you already have the original mangas, don`t bother with the short stories. It`s basically all the short stories compiled into 2 books. If I ad known this I would have not gotten them unless I was a serious collector. The books still came in good condition and are brand new!

I'm totally glad. It's completely impossible to have any manga of Sailor Moon and Sailor V in my country (for some strange and stupid reason) and I'm a big big fan, I'm happy to finally have this colection. The book is taller than I thought and has a few color pages. Now with this 2 sort stories books I got the complete collection :D

One just can't get enough of these girls; even when they're no fighting evil their lives are full of adventure, battles and romance. A great addition to my collection.

Loved the short stories in this book, I was in need of fresh Sailor Moon content being a fan since my teenage years and this filled that need wonderfully, the book has 7 stories in all, the first 3 being centred around Chibi-Usa, the next 3 being about Mako(Jupiter), Ami(Mercury) and a joint story about Rei(Mars) and Minako(Venus), it was nice seeing the 'lesser' Sailors in the lime-lite since they're often ignored, and a final story featuring Chibi-Usa again and Hotaru(Saturn). The stories were very charming and sometimes humorous, I would love more books like this one in the series, a very cute book, I'd recommend it for sure.
