(99239) Universal Funnel (Red)

My dad had a blue one for about 40 years, used it all the time for filling transmissions. It got melted about 8-10 years ago and I have been searching for a replacement since. I finally found this one. I bought 2 so I gave him one and brought one to work. My co-workers borrow it all the time. Finally found one after looking for years.

I wanted to more easily fill a slanted snow blower oil-port, Honda HSS928, which is positioned back aways. Best to use a funnel or similar.The snout of the Redline is too big at ~ 5/8"; it is not perfectly round so varying from 0.640+ or so to less. BUT, after looking in vain for adapters, I realized I have a soft-ish plastic funnel which I warmed on hot water and managed to twist~push the snout of on.As of this writing 2022 Mar 9, I've not finished it. Need to cut off the funnel portion and glue (probably epoxy) it, though a small hose clamp would likely suffice. Glues/epoxies for this variety of plastic aren't 'common' but are findable. Read what it states it will bond.Also I want to enlarge the adapter snout a bit, which will likely happen with more hot water and a tapered rod.The Redline is a quality product; not flimsy. I like it and recommend it.

Item came as described. I like the funnel as it fits and able to get in at the correct angle. I have used it for filling gas as it sticks in the filler opening with the funnel still facing upwards.

Arrived on time and in good condition, as described, appears to work fine so far. Did modify it as per direction in robots video for a vespa and worked fine.

We use it to put in rv antifreeze. It worked way better than what we used to use. Good quality
