Works great once you get the hang of it!
I have a generic name brand of a straightening brush and I must say this InStyler brand is so much better! My hair is thin, wavy, frizzy and medium length. With the generic brand straightening brush, it would burn my hair even at the lowest heat setting and it would pull my hair. With the InStyler brush, I set it at the lowest setting of 330 degrees and it did not smell like my hair was burning. The adjustable settings is great and this brush will work for people with different kinds of hair texture/thickness. I was able to brush through my hair without pulling it and achieve straighter hair. The cool ends to the brush are a great idea because not once did I burn myself. With this straightening brush, you can achieve fast and gorgeous results! It's very easy to use once you get the hang of it and I was able to straighten my hair a lot quicker with the brush as compared to my flat iron AND have better results! Overall this is an awesome straightening brush that is quick and easy to use, and gives you soft straight great looking hair. I have been using this brush 3-4 days a week and will continue to use it as so. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to cut their flat iron time in half or who are in a hurry (it heats up fast!) and need great looking hair!

Cuts Straightening Time in Half!
First of all, I want to make clear that this tool does not replace a flat iron, but it does save tons of time straightening the bulk of my hair. I still need my flat iron for touch-ups and sections of my hair that are short along my hairline, but that always goes really quick. It took me about five minutes to review the instructions and figure out how this works, less than five minutes for the straightener to reach the desired temperature (410°F is what I used) while I brushed my hair, and about 5-10 minutes to straighten my hair. This tool is super easy to operate! I can run about twice as much hair through at once than what I can with my flat iron. And when I mindlessly touched my scalp with the brush, it didn't hurt because there are longer bristles that don't heat up, so my skin never touches the heating element. Also, my hair didn't feel dry like it sometimes does when I go too hot or too slow with my flat iron, possibly because less hair is in direct contact with the heat.If you consider the time saved by using this brush in addition to your flat iron, it's well worth the price.

It works quick but leaves hair frizzy, not pin straight
It does work and get the job done, for those skeptical, please see the before/after pictures (I think the picture makes it look better than it is in real life). I have long, thick, curly hair, and I have been eyeing these hair straightening brushes for a while now as a possible quicker alternative to my flat iron. This product did indeed straighten my hair quicker than my flat iron. I will admit it’s not quite what I was expecting, my hair is definitely not as sleek as when I’ve straightened with a flat iron, and it’s more frizzy too, and the ends didn’t straighten completely, they’re still a little curly. (I used barely any hair product, so that may be a solution for future use, and I’m sure my hair could use a trim to rid the dead ends) With that being said, this was my first time using the product, and even with having to figure out the right way to hold the brush and figuring out a kind of technique, it only took me a half hour (this included taking the pictures and checking out how well it worked), where normally with a flat iron it would take me around an hour and a half just to do the straightening.I think my future use of this product will be to do the brunt work of straightening, and then I’ll finish up using my flat iron. If you’re not set on that pin straight look or your hair isn’t as curly, this product will probably work well for you. When shopping around, I liked that there were multiple heat settings, but I ended up using the highest, 450, and don’t see myself using any of the lower settings. I did find myself accidently pressing buttons as I was using this and even though I brushed my hair out prior to straightening; my hair still got caught on the brush frequently.Cons: Hair won’t be pin straight, leaves hair somewhat frizzy (hair products might help with this), not as sleek or shiny as flat iron, hair can get caught/pulled out, hair should be dry and brushed to use, buttons accidentally pressed during usePros: multiple heat settings, digital display, quick heat up, auto shut off, quick hair straightening, safer (less likely to get burned), easier to maneuver for hard to reach hair, overall it does work and get the job doneEdit: added a picture of my hair after going over it with the flat iron to show the difference, still agree this product can do the brunt of the work in less time and then finish it up with the flat iron to get the sleek shiny look I want.

Does my biracial curly hair in a fraction of the time and I wish I found it sooner. Great value.
I honestly don't understand some of the bad reviews. I mean everyone has their own experience and I respect that wholeheartedly. However, a few ppls bad reviews made no sense. One woman said it gave them split ends. In the same sentence she said she used this on wet hair. It is not for wet hair. That is clear in the description. Instyler makes one for wet 2 dry hair, and even that one says to only use on towel dried damp hair. Another person saw the Cali prop 65 warning and was livid about it like she had never heard of it before. Calling Amazon irresponsible for selling such items! lol That warning is on a ton of stuff. Anyone who reads this, disclaimer, I’m home during this corona outbreak and bored. Hence y I'm doing a long review. This straight up thing works great. I have curly hair and I'm bi racial so it's prone to frizzies. It has my hair sleek, straight (not flat) and fabulous in a quarter of the time. I’ll never go back 2 blow dryer and flat iron. I wish I found this sooner. If u want big waves or curls, use this then some rollers or curling iron and you will be good to go.
