REDKEN Acidic Bonding Concentrate Leave-In Treatment, Bond Repair for Damaged Hair with Heat Protection

This redken leave-in treatment is such a game changer for me. For context, my hair is very fine, and my lengths reach my bra strap. I've been using this consistently for 9 weeks. I'm devoted to Olaplex no.3, but recently I went abroad and didn't have time to do the pre-treatment and then shampoo. This leave-in treatment is fantastic. I didn't register the effect it had on my ends until after I'd used about 3-4 times, and then bam! my ends now feel smoother and silkier and bizarrely enough the end of my ponytail feels thicker too. My grey shines and also feels very soft, and my ends don't catch at the end of the brush as it slides through it. I suspect this is because my ends aren't breaking off as easily and the friction from my hairbands are not getting to do as much damage as before because of this leave-in (I don't know, I'm not a hair scientist). What I do know, is my hair feels tremendous, it brushes out without tangles or knots, and it feels like it's in fabulous condition. The smell is also so light and fresh, like others have stated a salon smell, but nothing overpowering and doesn't interfere with perfume etc. also the scent doesn't change over time, especially if I happen to be lazy and not wash it for 3-4 days. A little bit also goes a long way, pretty much like olaplex 3, an amount the size of 20p piece, and it covers my long hair quite well. Now this isn't a cheap product, but given the change it has made to my hair I feel it's worth the spend. I will in future look out for Amazon price drops on it. All in all, a brilliant product!

I am trying to grow my hair down to my bust, but maintaining the condition of my hair has been impossible. My hair is very coarse with split ends. I bought this leave in conditioner 4 weeks ago and have used it every time I blow dry my hair. It's the best conditioner I've ever used. The condition of my lengths between washes is greatly improved but not amazing. It doesn't protect against hot and humid weather, my hair still becomes incredibly frizzy in those conditions. I will be buying this again, I feel sure that when the weather cools down and I start trimming my hair again it will look better. I only use small amounts of the product as it's very expensive.

I’ve used this leave in conditioner for a month now and so far it has been great. When I put the conditioner on it leaves my hair feeling soft and looking shiny however I have noticed that the effects are more visible if I put the conditioner on after my hair has naturally dried for a bit instead of putting it on really wet hair after washing it. My family have also noticed the change to my hair and have used the product and said it was a game changer for them in terms of softness. You also don’t need to use a lot of product so this bottle is guaranteed to last me for at least three months.

Cannot recommend this enough! It is the single best thing you can use on your hair! I've tried it all and this is saving my hair right now. It's no longer full of static and feels so healthy. It also smells incredible! I have very fine hair and this being a heat protectant too is so good for me as I dont have to layer another product on top.

Great pricing for the product but the product its self is 10/10!!! I love it it really nourishes my hair with my curly hair or when i straighten it. Smells great and a little goes along way while also being lightweight leaving my hair super soft and shining keeping it healthy.

This leave-in does help with smoothing and makes hair easier to manage, especially after heat styling. It adds some shine and reduces frizz, but I wouldn’t say the results are dramatic. On very dry or heavily damaged hair, the effect feels more temporary than transformative. You also have to be careful with the amount, as too much can leave the hair slightly heavy. Considering the price, I expected a bit more long-term improvement. It’s decent, just not a standout for me.

I always try new products but return to this... Redken is simply the best. I always get comments on my hair after using this. My hair is long thick and wavy. This emphasises shine and colour and calms frizz... Luv it💖
