K&N filters provide far more protection than OEM filters. Cleaning is easy and over time even cheaper than OEM filters. Can be reused many times. The OEM filter on the Polaris RZR is way too small for the engine. A common problem for RZR 800 is sucking dust into engine; therefore premature engine failure. One reason is filter too small. The RZR engine is high compression and sucks a LOT of air. This overwhelms the OEM filter and results in dust sucked right through the filter. The K&N is more than twicee the size of the OEM filter so provides far more surface area to catch dust. This also means less sucking pressure per square inch. Bottom line is more protection for engine. Still a good idea to check your engine for dust by passing filter now and then. Remove filter and look down intake with a flash light. If you see dust wet a rag with spray silicone. Wipe out intake passage carefully. If there's a lot of dust then clean more often.

I finally coughed up and bought this due to need,I resisted due to price but well with it( other filters letting to much dirt go by,also shipper didn’t sit on order😊

Great product, keep in mind it DOES come with the pre-filter so you don't have to buy another one. Poor product description, now I have an extra. But definitely noticeable difference in speed and pickup.

I only rated this a four as I have not had it long enough to see if it will work as good as the stock filter, I am hoping that it does to help with the expense of the stock filters.will wait to see if I will recommend it to friends.

Have not had enough time to give a good evaluation, but looking at the quality of this filter, I think it will do the trick,especially with this new dust sleeve I got with it, ask again in a couple of months

This filter gave my Polaris that extra little snap. It's great for deep water crossings. The sock over the filter keeps that fine trail dust out too. It should last forever. Just clean it, oil it and that's it.
