Includes nutrients for hair health
This shampoo's formula is thick, and has an interesting scent. It is not off-putting, but not altogether pleasant, either. It lathered well and cleaned my hair thoroughly. The shampoo is packed with nutrients for hair health and growth. I haven't heard of probiotics for hair before, but am always up to try new things. My hair is shiny and healthy looking after using this product. That's all that you can ask.

Rich and fragrant
A wonderful shampooing experience. Great herbal scent and a rich thick lather. Leaves hair full and healthy looking. Will it speed up slow growth? . . . . We shall see, but in the meantime, it's a pleasure to use. 5 star shampoo!

Bottle does pump right
Bottle is defective even though it seems like a nice bottle. It pumps a little but seems like it has a ton of air. I have a lot of hair so it would take me 5 minutes to pump all out that I need so I just open it and get it out there way. It's a pain though and I would be really ticked if I spent $20 and had to do this. Another down side is that it feels like it's literally stripping the oil from my hair. I do wash my hair everyday as my hair gets super oily BUT this gives my hair almost a rough feel. I can't run my fingers through it. Just compared to many other shampoos I have where even though they aren't a conditioner I can still run my fingers through without pain. Not this one. It's very painful. Plus sides, It lathers well! It also smells great IMO! I love that fresh clean rain forest type smell. I do feel it's probably good for the hair. Ingredients are great. Unfortunately I wouldn't buy this but I feel it's right for someone. Looking at other reviews I suppose my bottle was a fluke and not all bottles come defective so that's a plus since it's so expensive.

Amazing, vegan shampoo. Expensive.
To be honest, I wasn't sure if this was a shampoo or a food supplement. A probiotic shampoo? I am not sure if I buy using buzz words to describe a shampoo. The significant other is glad and impressed with the fact it's vegan, cruelty-free, no sulfates, no parabens, no parafins, no salts, no formaldehyde. She said it lathers up fine, and smells okay. Then I mentioned that it costs $30 (current price is actually $28.50), and she gasped. I laughed and said that was my reaction, too. So, despite the overall positive aspects of this shampoo, it's difficult to get around the high expense. This shampoo has great ingredients that will superficially benefit hair. However, to actually nourish the hair, you need to 'feed' the follicles from metabolic systems, nutrients ingested. Topical application may provide limited benefits, but not to the same degree. So, for example, consuming biotin will benefit hair more than massaging biotin into the scalp. This is my opinion, which I think is scientifically/medically accurate. Anyway, the shampoo seems to do a credible job of cleansing. It has wonderful ingredient and attributes. However, it is an expensive shampoo. Even more expensive than her vegan based shampoo. Based on these considerations, this prebiotic shampoo receives a 3.0 - 3.25 star rating.

Cheap synthetic chemicals, zero probiotics & only one "herbal" ingredient!
This is a cheap shampoo comprised of strong synthetic chemicals, perfumes, and detergents, and has no actual probiotics in it! The company is blatantly conning you and there's nothing natural or herbal about this. The ONLY herbal ingredient in this is aloe leaf. (I'm not counting the citronellol, cinnamal, or limonene, because those are chemically isolated compounds that can be found in things from nature but in this form, they are produced in a lab and retain no "herbal" attributes.) I get very angry when companies slap "natural" or buzzwords like "probiotic" and "herbal" on their label because most people are dumb enough to believe that means something without actually reading the ingredients. This has horrible ingredients for your lungs, body, and the environment and like I said, the probiotic tagline is a complete joke. This is so heavily scented, it gave me a headache. Synthetic fragrances are really bad for both humans and pets, even if you feel no physical symptoms, and when a shampoo has more perfume than anything else, it actually shows a lack of quality. You're making your hair smell like perfume, not actually washing it. (Although the chemical detergents in this will definitely "wash" dirt away without actually nourishing or protecting your hair!) I would not recommend this product to anyone and sadly, I now have a bottle of chemicals I would feel extremely guilty tossing in the trash due to the environmental impact. I just as soon clean my toilet with this stuff like Clorox. (I'm joking but still....)

Not great
I wanted to like this and was hoping it would be a fancy, high end shampoo but it just didn't do much for me. The scent is light but not great. It sort of looks and smells like the soap you get from the dispensers in public restrooms where it's almost chemically. The look of the actual product is sort of thick and pearly iridescent. It looks like those shampoo and conditioners in one products. It doesn't lather very much and is very very gentle. As in, it works well for my toddler's fine hair that doesn't get oily but when I've tried using it on my sweaty or greasy hair I feel like I have to use far more than necessary and even then I just don't feel like it cleans very well.

Natural Probiotic Aloe Vera Shampoo
I've been using this shampoo for almost a week and I really like how my hair feels after using it. Its not greasy and the smell isn't overpowering like most shampoos. My wife started using it as well and she also likes it.
