Waterproof Ostomy Cover by DRYPRO - Vacuum Sealed - Ideal for Swimming or Shower - Large (OS-18)

I have had a colostomy for over 2 years. I purchased this product thinking it would help with swimming. It is extremely uncomfortable and rubs over the very fragile stoma. My waist is on the smaller size at 30" and this was not fitting based on their size requirements. I'm not sure why this is even a product. I use a one piece ostomy bag and have been swimming without any problem for two summers. I also am an avid scuba diver and wear a rash guard shirt over my ostomy bag without problem. This product is not necessary so please spend your money on something else, you will be better off.

Dealing with the daily routine of keeping your body clean and your ostomy bag and body attachments dry is a chore. The claim the manufacturer makes that one can take a bath, swim etc., in my experience, is simply not true. I have used it for showering and it beats making a tent over your ostomy with tape and plastic but this item is still not water proof. For the price of this gadget, it should do a better job. The only reason that I am keeping it is to use it for showers.

I did not like the way it fit

this is the second one i have bought. it's a great product. my husband uses it in the shower and the swimming pool.

This product is sized incorrectly. So take a risk and order a larger than needed size that may be too big. Or just don't buy, there are NO returns!It a lame idea. Stick with Coloplast.NO returns!

Stated measurements were small. Product doesn't fit at currently weight. I suggest ordering a size larger than the waist measurements.
