Great collector for my purposes. Picture shows a Rosemary extract that is in the finishing stages of setting.The stop cock mechanism works good as I tested it with water before using my extract.In the background there is a less quality collector that came with my distillation kit and the stop cock leaked. I sealed it with wax in an old school method but it’s not of quality that I would buy on its own.This is a great collector and the functioning stop cock is worth the little extra in price. It can take several weeks for an extract to completely settle and that stop cock is the key component to harvest your patient collection efficiently.I will be buying more collectors.

I bought this for extractions. It's great, came in good packaging. I just wish they made an even bigger one

I've used it to separate yeast from home brew for future use. The top seals well so liquit will stop pouring from the bottom if the top cork is in. The stopcock turns easily and is easy to remove for cleaning. If it were all glass it would be better but that would cost more.

Came packaged in a snug foam cut out. Solid and does it's job.

Used it to separate water & honey. Didn’t work cause honey is water soluble but it did remove the other materials in the honey

Well, it works fine, though I noticed when operating the valve there was some weeping of liquid through the valve and toward the handle side. This wasn't an issue for me as I was using a very weak acid, but for stronger acids or bases this is highly unacceptable, however, this product should be avoided for such and it should state it within the description to be fair. Still it shouldn't leak at all, this a flaw. The valve and cover cap is plastic and not glass FYI.

I have not used the product yet but it looks like it is going to do what I want. The shipping and the packaging were great.
