Amazing price and I love how it smells. Will be using it in cold process soap and shampoo bars as well as for simple homemade disinfectant with vinegar and citronella E/O to clean my kitchen and other surfaces. Very satisfied and will buy again !

I used to get countless ants in my kitchen, I don’t want to kill ants, but I don’t want them to appear in my place…. I used to use Now Lemongrass oil, which works well, but Citronella oil works even better!!!! Few drops in cotton pads and put them in my cabinet. No more ants and other insects( works for mosquitoes as well…… and with refreshed air without worry about toxic elements near my food !!! I will keep repurchasing it!

I really like the NOW brand. They just turn out good quality stuff. No-nonsense, no peacocking - they just give you good stuff. And for a good price. This is definitely the good stuff; very concentrated, potent. Does what it's supposed to. And I like how they provide a cap and a dropper - and that it comes in a larger size. The dropper - while well-made otherwise - doesn't have the strongest suction, though. It only ever fills less than half in a single draw. That said, it's not even close to being a deal-breaker; and you do get a lot of drops out of that amount of liquid. Just depends on what you're doing with it and how much you need, as to whether this point serves to annoy or not. At any rate - will definitely keep this one bookmarked.

NOW brand 100% pure citronella (cymbopogon winterianus) is steam distilled from fresh and dried citronella grass. I bought it for use in making a mosquito repellent (plenty of recipes online. Most all basically use a few essential oils, some vodka to preserve, some water, witch hazel, a splash of oil- all in a bottle and shaken up to mix). I spray it on my body, my clothes, around the area I am hanging out in (on lawn furniture, grass, umbrella, etc)-- all to help reduce the mosquito population at that time. I don't want to use DEET for daily use, as I am outside a lot with my dogs, and I don't want to come in and track that all inside. Using citronella as well as lemon eucalyptus for bug repelling, and a few others for additional aroma, is much preferred. I purchased the 4 ounce amber glass bottle with screw on lid. Some other purchasing choices on the page include a glass or plastic pipette. So keep that in mind if you are purchasing this style and size- you will want a pipette or something if you don't already have one. I have several, so it was of no concern to me. Thought you may find that bit of information helpful though.
