I bought this hoop this summer for my son, turned out it was more for my brother-in-law and I. The height is perfect to use anywhere around the pool and the overhang of the rim was just enough to prevent the ball from going onto the coping or out of the pool completely. The product was very sturdy as well as heavy, I made the mistake of filling it up a good distance from the pool and carrying/dragging it to the pool was quite a trip. Ball is your standard rubber outdoor ball, so I advise not leaving it outside or in the pool all summer long, it holds air well, no knots, and not misshaped in anyway. Assembly and filling, very quick and self explanatory, the fill plug is hard rubber and does its job. The hardware for the rim are metal with plastic coated wing nuts (4), and hold long enough. If you desire you could use Loctite or something to keep the wing nuts from backing off, they don't immediately come loose but after a days worth of play you may have to snug them up, not at all a big deal! Overall the family and I thoroughly enjoyed the hoop and seems to me this will last quite a while! I highly recommend this hoop, its simple, good quality, and a great price!

Purchased the basketball goal and volleyball set three years ago. We are just a few hundred yards from the ocean and even with all the salt air, it’s not rusted. Base filled with water is strong enough that it doesn’t fall over. Our grandkids absolutely love it. Definitely have not regretted the purchase. Wish I could purchase more of the thumb nuts as we’ve misplaced a few of them.

I saw this item online and it was going for about $140-150. When I saw it for $105 I jumped at it and I'm glad I did. This item is built sturdy, the backboard is solid and plays true. The rim is strong and of great quality. We shoot around when just the 2 of us are in the pool, but we had a little 3 on 3 game the other day and this provided lots of entertainment and a workout! The only drawback, which is not the products fault is when you miss a shot or the ball goes off the backboard it rolls out of play and you have to keep getting out the pool to retrieve the ball. We solved that problem by putting up the child proof enclosure just around the areas behind the unit and it kicks the ball back perfectly! This item is awesome and for the price, you'll love the fun it provides. I strongly suggest this item for your pool parties!

Loving it. Ok why 4 stars and not 5? Simple. I would prefer a way to keep the basketball hoop in-tact when switching over to the volleyball set. I might see if I can rig this in such a way to keep the hoop up AND play volleyball, but haven't tried it yet. Aesthetically, it's a big white blob of plastic. Could be a bit of an eye sore, if you have it placed front and center. I'm getting used to it, but first time installed was like "WOW, that's a lot of white plastic". :) I more aesthetic light blue might have helped. Seriously. Not a deal breaker, but I noticed it. BUT the setup is great. Kids love the hoops and the volleyball was great. Very stable and good. I really wish I could give it 5 stars, but will record this as a solid 4 stars

Easy to put together, Great quality

This Basketball Hoop is Great! Excellent quality and design. It has been around our pool in the Florida heat and sun for almost 1 year and it still looks great! Recently, I had a leaking issue with the base where the water to add weight to the base was leaking all out and I contacted the seller and he will send a new one since it's still under warranty. I highly recommend the product and company! Update: I had another leak issue with the new replacement and the company made it right right away! They are by far the best company I have ever dealt with!!! Amazing customer service, fast responses and they go beyond any expectations you can imagine a company should do. Wow! I you are looking for the best pool basketball, you are with the right company and product!!!
