Does the real thing look like the first 6 photos or the 7th (last)?

I would say it most likely resembles the last photo. It’s very cute and soft. It also seems to be weighted so it’s not just fluff. I highly recommend, my daughter loves it.

are the eyes hard, and do they have a possibility of popping off?

Eyes ARE hard. My son is pretty rough and tough on his toys and the eyes are not only still completely in tact, they are not even loose. The only way the eyes are coming out is if that is a VERY strong child’s “mission”. Our cheetah has taken many trip through the washer and dryer, and though his fur is not as fluffy as it once was. His eyes are still as secure as they say he was delivered 😁
