Helping me stay low carb / keto
I'm glad to have an alternative to almond and coconut flours. I haven't compared it to other lupini bean flours, but I'm happy with the flavor and quality. I wish it were cheaper, but discounts are typically available if you look for them.

Tasty & Healthy Pizza and Muffins - Sub ¼ of the regular flour
We use it in recipes subbing ¼ of the regular flour. For muffins, we use 1 Cup wheat flour, ½ Cup Lupini, ½ Cup Almond flour, and the other ingredients. For a 12” homemade pizza crust, we use 1/3 Cup Lupini flour, 2/3 Cup King Arthur pizza flour, plus an extra spoonful of the pizza flour; ¼ tsp active yeast, with garlic and Italian spices, and about ½ Cup tepid warm water. Hand mix briefly, adding water if it is too dry; let it sit for at least an hour, then flatten the pizza dough onto a pizza pan, add toppings, and bake in the oven. It tastes like normal, delicious, pizza. If you add too much Lupini it does taste a bit earthy. This cuts carbs way down, for much healthier eating.

Great flour for mixing
This flour works great if you blend it with other types of flour. It adds a slightly flaky, delicate texture to dough and a slight orange color, as if baked with some exotic spice.Generally, adding a one-third mix of Lupini flour is fine. You could add more, or less. Experiment and see. Taste is not an issue if you blend the flour.

Great substitute
I'm satisfied with this product except I think it's on the expensive side

Not bitter at all!
Not bitter at all! I purchased this product a couple of months ago and finally have had a chance to try out some recipes. I replaced about 25% of the almond flour in a couple of different recipes. Additionally, I made a lupine flour waffle recipe that used 100% lupine flour and a mini chocolate cake recipe that contains 100% lupine flour. There was not a trace of bitterness in any of the 4 different recipes I made. I am usually quite sensitive to off flavors, especially with some of the new keto flours that are available. I would recommend this Aviate Lupini flour. The texture is great and the taste is excellent. The downside is that it is more expensive than some other brands that are out there. It’s frustrating to have to pay premium prices to follow a keto diet.

Starch Free But Not a Good Taste
I was excited when I first learned about lupin flour because I follow a very strict starch free and grain free diet and I thought it might be a nice alternative to almond flour. I don't have anything against almond flour, in fact I use it all the time for my baking. But I thought having more options would be nice. So I tried to make some products with this lupin flour. The consistency was very good and similar to regular flour. But the taste was bitter when compared to almond flour. So I don't see the point of using it, especially since it costs more than almond flour. Perhaps if someone had nut allergies and needed another option I would understand.

DELISH!!! Great texture, not bitter!!
I ordered Aviate Lupin flour because I CAN NOT stand the texture of almond flour. I had heard that lupin flour can be bitter, however that is not the case with this brand. It actually had a slight sweet smell when I first opened the bag. My first attempt using this lupin flour was a huge success!! I made these DELISH low carb chocolate chip cookies! I got the recipe from VooDoo DiVine Low Carb Cooking & Recipes Facebook group. The texture of the cookies were the closest to a non low carb cookie I've made yet. I'm super excited to try the flour in some muffins, sweet bread, cakes, bread, Oooooooo pie crust?!?! This. Flour. Is. A. Game. CHANGER!!

Great for Making Keto Cookies Better!
I bought this flour specifically to make a Keto chocolate chip cookie recipe that I found online. The recipe only calls for 13g of this flour, but it makes a world of difference in the texture of the cookies! Anyone who is on Keto knows that most Keto cookies are pretty strange, but when I made the recipe which I found on FatKitchen's website using Almond and Lupin Flour, I actually had some non-Keto friends say they were delicious!
