I bought these with safety in mind. I have them attached to our everyday backpacks we take when we are out (each of my children 8,5,5,3 have a bag) and I also attached them to their life vests when we were swimming in the ocean. They are the perfect small size and discreet. To note: They will rust as all non coated metal will do, especially after swimming in salt water. Rinsing may have prevented that, may have not. I don’t know. Anywho, I taught my kids the safety of using the whistle when in danger or lost. They understand but as all kids do, they tested them well at first and whistle loud enough to draw attention of anyone nearby. Great value to have multiple for the price

I purchased these whistles as a giveaway item for my small business. I believe everyone should carry a personal protection item and everyone was going nuts for these whistles.

Didn't realize for some reason that they are black in color, not that it really matters, they're not a style statement! As a whistle they are fine, loud and clear. Small and very light. Would buy again. Quite inexpensive.

These whistles were a complete disappointment. I bought them to distribute to my wife and children for a safety emergency whistle and they are not loud at all. After multiple tries, I discovered that you have to blow in at a certain angle, which still makes a low sound. In the event of an emergency, these will not alert anyone who isn’t in very close proximity to you, thus, defeating the point. I’m not really sure what else these would be good for but I completely regret buying them.
