Really Useful Box Plastic Storage 9 Litre Clear

The box is advertised as a ‘Really Useful Box’. What I received was a random plastic box with cream lid. It didn’t even look new!

Excellent on-line shopping experience. I stack my dvd's on their edges, spine/title face up. The box is about an inch wider than a standard dvd case is tall. Not *too* much wasted space. You might think this is good, as there would seem to be enough space then for oversized dvd packages... but unfortunately, there's not enough room between the dvd spines and the box cover, for anything bigger than a standard dvd case. I'd rather have the box 1" less wide then, and store my odd-sized dvd's elsewhere. But basically, i love the boxes for storing dvd's.

The "Really Useful Box" 9L and 4L boxes are highly recommended across several tabletop wargaming creators for being well-sized, sturdy and stackable - this is exactly what I purchased them for. The box is of great quality, and the lid feels secure with the handle shut. I saw in some reviews that people accidentally knocked the handle, unsecuring the lid, and while I can see how this could happen, I have managed this. I also intend to purchase a strap to wrap around the boxes for easier carrying of multiple boxes, which would negate this potential for me anyway. The box is perfect for most (not all) tanks and vehicles, mechs, or many units. When using magnetic strips and magnetising unit bases, they can even be stuck to the box walls, or the underside of the lid - a great way to transport many units at once! The box may be pricey, but a cheap box for expensive miniatures that have had many hours put into painting them... It's a no-brainer to get a quality box!

Great product. Excellent for transporting bigger Warhammer 40k miniatures. I would suggest adding a metal sheet to its bottom for magnetized models.
