Best veggie bacon I've ever tried, and I've been vegan 10 years. It tastes exactly how I remember bacon tasting. I've just been eating it by the handful but it's also amazing in a sandwich, baked potato, on a salad or as a topping to cupcakes etc. Will be ordering again and again

Holy cow. Literally. I love these little vegan bacon-ey bits. They're basically delicious on everything and anything. Add a little zest to avocado toast, give a little zing to your salads. If you are into savory, salty tastiness - these are your guys. Most definitely will be a staple in my meat-free life.

In my quest to find a non-soy, gluten-free bacon replacement, I have tried many brands. This one far surpasses any others I've tried. I have used these to top baked potatoes, added to salad and eaten straight out of the bag. I have been vegan and eat a whole food, plant based diet for about 9 months. I still miss some of the flavors of animal products and bacon is at the top of the list. I am so happy to have this to satisfy that taste craving. I gave a taste of it to my non-vegan family members and they were all shocked that it wasn't real bacon.

I wish I could buy this in a store locally. At 3oz for $6, it's reasonable, but with shipping added on, it's too expensive to keep buying this way. For everyone looking to try this product though, I do recommend it. These are the best vegan bacon bits I've ever tried. Great crunchy texture with a wonderful smoky flavor. Much better than your typical TVP bacon bits.Overall, this product satisfies the craving for quality bacon bits. I don't know if its more widely distributed, but it says they are sold out on their main website, so I had to buy here. But then you would still have shipping costs even if they weren't. I'm just going to go through this bag too fast for $10. Again, haven't tried it before? Buy it, and join the line it is more widely distributed at retail price.If I find it at Whole Foods or another grocery, I'll change the rating to 5 stars and edit the post.

My husband and I recently started eating more of a vegetarian/vegan diet (about 95%) for what we feel is for better health.. I found a recipe for 7-layer salad that I wanted to try, which is usually topped with bacon bits. I had purchased these Veggie Bacon bits on Amazon for this salad one time and we loved them! Tastes as much like bacon but any more, I think way better and with great ingredients. Recently they were unavailable and we had a BBQ for family and friends and promised this salad but since I was out of the Veggie Bacon bits that I wanted to use but couldn't get them, I chose to use actual bacon and crumble it as an alternative. I ate enough just to try it this way but did not enjoy it at all. Our guests didn't know any different since they are used to actual bacon. As soon as this item became available, I ordered 3 packages to make sure I have them on hand because they are that good and there are other recipes/dips that I would like to try these with as well as the 7-layer salad more often!

This is a fabulous product! It totally satisfies my vegan bacon craving! Even my son, who is not vegan, says it tastes like bacon! I put it in just about everything: the bread I bake, vegan macaroni and cheese, soups, spaghetti, and more! It is healthy, too; made from pinto beans, and no artificial colors! If only it came in a 6 pound bucket!

Well, I ordered a bag of these to use in some recipes I was preparing for weekend guests. One of my visitors was a vegetarian -- and I don't eat much meat either (especially not pork because I love pigs) -- so it seemed like a good time to try veggie bacon bits. Unfortunately, I didn't actually get to use these or even taste them because one of my non-vegetarian friends liked them so much she declared them "hers" and took them home.

This little pack can go a long way. I had bought this over a year ago and have eaten it with foods and on its own.It does taste a bit salty on its own, so I recommend using it in whatever dish you are making, then salting to taste.I love putting it in rice dishes, salads, and even pastas! I feel like I always put so much in my foods, yet there's so much remaining.FUNNY STORY: I had actually lost this for months in my pantry and had forgotten about it. It was expired, but I decided to try it anyways and it had not lost any significant quality! Of course, I don't advocate for eating all expired foods, but try it and it may still be good!
