I used this to connect my Chromebook to my lg TV.My TV would not accept casting from my quest vr headset, so I connect to my Chromebook and have used this cable to view it on my TV for everyone to see.

This product works great. It works on my Google chromebook but does not work on my samsung galaxy phone even though it has USB-C. It was easy to use and the picture quality great

Intermittent connectionSo right out of the bag this thing was put to the test, connecting the usb-c end to a Samsung galaxy tab, and hdmi end to a hotel's Samsung TV in hope to watch a Netflix show in peace... After not working at all to begin with, I tried a 2nd hdmi cable, still nothing, tried turning the cable round (connecting the end that was connected to the TV, to the adapter instead, and connecting the end that was connected to the adapter, to the TV instead) that didn't work, tried the same thing with the first cable and didn't work either. I asked chat gpt and troubleshooted the settings on the tablet, that didn't work, tried reordering the order in which the connections are made; initially I turned the tablet on, connected the adapter, then connected the hdmi to the adapter, then connected the hdmi to the TV, this time I tried disconnecting all, and working backwards, connected the hdmi to the TV, then to the adapter, and finally the adapter to the tablet. I have no idea why this changed anything, but finally we had video output on the TV, huge success, or so we thought... No sound, well not quite, there was still sound playing, just that it was insistent on playing out of the tablet and not the TV. Went through another five to ten minutes of troubleshooting settings with the tablet, to no avail, finally gave up and went to unplug it all, and after wiggling the adapter, the sound suddenly switched and began playing solely from the TV. Seems like the internal wiring / soldering might be done to a poor standard, causing an intermittent/limited connection. After scouring the lower reviews my suspicions are confirmed by seeing other seemingly less impressed customers with similar issues, no video or audio, no video but full audio, full video but no audio, and so on with other intermittent performance. After all that time spent, I can't help but feel disappointed in this product, what was meant to be a convenient bit of tech has actually become the biggest inconvenience of the night, almost ruining a little cozy retreat with the wife

fits a treat, works well, very happy

I've tried these before to no avail. This one works and allows me to use my Chromebook on TVs when I go away, or even when working, if I need to connect to a projector.

Bought to connect my laptop to my monitor since the monitor only came with HDMI cable. Does the job!
