The Veggie Chocolate Egg - Vegan Easter Chocolate Egg by Rococo Chocolate

Purchased this for my 'foodie' partner, who couldn't stop laughing at how bad it was (quickly consigned to the bin). Almost chemical-tasting, fibrous so-called-chocolate 'treats' inside and a two part/flavour shell that was as inedible due to horrible after-tastes...and actual tastes come to think of it. Did you actually TASTE this yourselves Rococo Chocolate? Guess the joke is on us. It is April after all. Will never be able to buy anything from you again.

Thought we would give a vegan chocolate egg a whirl. Good company producing it and it certainly looked enticing, but sadly the flavour of tomato and beetroot were not pleasant, especially the aftertaste and the graininess. Will stick to proper dairy chocolate in future!

This has to be some kind of practical joke against vegan food, or they just hate chocolate and set out to ruin it. But jeez this is disgusting! It tastes like wheat grass health drinks, but you don't even get the good feeling of having had something healthy

Really odd, and not in a good way...chocolate flavour followed by a strong taste of carrot/corn/spinach. The egg itself is not as bad...but still not good. Usually love Rococo chocolates but definitely not this time.

I'll be honest, my girlfriend and I only managed a few chunks of this egg before we couldn't have any more. We were fascinated by the idea of vegetable flavouring within the chocolate, but it's quite overpowering.It's an acquired taste. I'll leave it at that.

This egg was beautifully presented.It was a gift for my vegan daughter.She opened it with such excitement, but was so disappointed by its taste.She said it was really unpleasant.

Packaging is amazing and the egg itself if fine but the ‘vegetables’ are awful. They taste like dried rabbit food!

Absolutely disgusting inedible rubbish, packaging was nice, it probably tasted better than the egg.Have you ever felt like you've been ripped off?
