TI-G50

Well designed, and built. It's a DIN rail mounted rugged gigabit switch, does the job it is supposed to. Supports dual power supplies for critical applications, and has a relay output that closes when only one power supply is operational - used to trigger power alarms, etc. Currently testing the switch in a hot cabinet with very little ventilation.

Works well in the heat. These are being used in control boxes that sit out in the sun and heat. There have been no failures so far after two years.

I have this industrial ethernet switch operating in my attic. So far it has worked very well. Update: April 27, 2020 I have had this switch running continuously now in my attic here in New Jersey for approx. 3 years. I operate them with the suggested TI-G50 DIN-Rail industrial power supply. The unit has never failed, even on the hottest summer days. It just works and is very reliable.

Cost a more than other products but these seem very durable in field applications

Looks great and works great in an industrial electrical cabinet, and runs on a really wide voltage range, PLUS has a very reasonable current draw. I like this switch and will buy more when the time comes, provided it keeps performing.

The router all in all was a good buy. We are using it in a water treatment facility for a plc and Scada system to go over Ethernet/ip. The switch itself works great. However, some of the parts seem cheaply made, but even at that- have had no problems with anything breaking or not working. So, for the money and the amount saved on this item compared to others, I will be buying again!

The feature set for the price is good. Gigabit, DIN rail mount, wide power input range. But there are some huge problems we have encountered with multiple units. POE capable devices using external power activate the POE function and will fail, as this switch IS NOT POE! Additionally this switch will activate the reset function on Ubiquiti radios. Even with only data wires, no power (4/5,7/8) wires connected.

Installed two of the four switches I purchased and so far they are working as expected. Will be installing the other two in the coming weeks and don't expect any issues.

I selected this switch for three reasons: At least 5 x GB ports Industrial device so I can potentially connect my 12V or 48V battery directly but really I wanted POE to power the device via LAN cable. Turns out the advertised device does NOT have PoE, which I could have found out had I mistrusted the description and checked on the OEMs site. Misleading description. Price and industrial design is good.

Habe diesen Switch gekauft, da er am (ungedämmten) Dachboden installiert wurde und dort im Sommer doch sehr hohe Temparaturen herrschen - und im Winter ist's kalt :-). In Verbindung mit dem passenden Netzteil von der selben Marke, welches ich ebenfalls weiterempfehlen kann, funktioniert der Switch bis jetzt ohne Probleme.

Installato e funziona bene. L'ho acquistato per la sua resistenza alle alte temperature (70gradi) per sostituire gli switch che avevo in soffitta e sottoscala dove in estate i normali switch si bloccano. Non ho ancora testato la sua resistenza alle alte temperature
