Beautifull bollywood movie which is Yash Raj's last production before he died. Must watch! This edition has plenty of extras too! Review: Jab Tak Hai Jann - A Truly Beautiful Film - This is the first Bollywood Film I have ever seen and I am so happy I chose this one to watch. A song from the film brought me here and watching this story in full was an emotional experience that felt tailor-made for my spirit at this time. My mom passed away recently, and at one point she was trying to learn the Hindi language. I know without question that she would have loved this film. It was romantic, energetic, funny, heartbreaking, and so sentimental. The cinematography in particular was especially beautiful to me and while I would normally have qualms about a film being nearly three hours long, this story feels like an epic tale of love that needed every last second of that time to tell its story. The acting was also superb. The characters feel so alive and real to the point that someone could tell me this was based on a true story and I'd believe it. The way the narrative is framed was also brilliant. This film is a story rooted in the importance of timing and the danger of making rash promises to God. There is an element of tragedy to this film, but at the same time it's hopeful in how it presents love. I don't think I've ever seen a musical film as compelling as this. This is truly a unique piece of cinema and I'm so happy it was made. It was very comforting for me at this time of loss and sadness. On some level, watching this helped me to believe that in the right time, love will find me too. Sometimes it really does come down to having the patience to wait for it. Beautiful film. Loved it. I would encourage anyone to watch it, especially the hopeless romantics of the world. God bless everyone who was part of its production. Review: A story of true love, friendship, commitment and the relationship we define with our God - Love, love, love this movie. Anyone who didn’t doesn’t have a heart. SRK was magnificent. I am watching all his movies, from his early years to current and love them all, but am partial to the current ones. He just gets better and better. If you’re interested in seeing who he is as a human being, google his lectures, they’re wonderful. Some actors and actresses are more than their art, SRK is one of those. As a middle class woman , born and raised in the USA, I hope you check out this movie and others...so different than what we’re getting from Hollywood. If only I could get my husband to watch (subtitles are an issue for him), he could learn something and I would be one happy lady .

Bollywood Love Story with SRK, Yes!!!!
I have already watched this movie a few times and absolutely love it. I am purchasing the DVD to put in with my personal Shahrukh Khan DVD library, and can watch it whenever I want to. With SRK what's not to love. He is the best actor there is. Katrina and Anushka are also great along side of Shahrukh. The only fault I have, is in my opinon the kissing scenes were completely unnecessary. They looked very awkward and not natural, so I think it would have worked out better without these scenes. I know there wasn't much to them, but still would have liked it better without them. The story line and movie was really great. LOVE LOVE LOVE anything with SRK. He's the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jab Tak Hai Jaan - Love is infinite and strong.
This is a very dynamic and moving action-romance about an Indian man and woman from different social worlds who fall in love in London, only to have fate drive them apart. He goes home to India, joins the Army and becomes a bomb disposal expert in Kashmir. She stays in London and run the family business. A reporter seeing the power of love in their relationship, prepares a story that ultimately brings the two lovers together, even if only briefly. An automobile accident in London, drives them apart but the movie closes in a touching scene as he is disarming his final bomb.

Worth Watching
Major Samar Anand (Shah Rukh Khan), fearless when defusing bombs, hides grief over a lost love behind a severe and stand-offish personality and a strong disregard for his safety. Akira (Anushka Sharma), a young filmmaker, finds Samar's journal, and discovers his past romance with Meera (Katrina Kaif), ten years ago in London. After making a documentary on Samar, Akira returns to London, but needs him to come there as well, to verify the legitimacy of her story. Reluctantly he returns to the city of his heartbreak, and the unexpected brings Meera back into his life. (Anupam Kher plays Meera's father. Rishi Kapoor and his real-life wife, Neetu Singh, play Meera's mother and step-father.) The first two hours of this film were excellent; the plot was immersive and the characters believable. The make-up artists did a wonderful job making Khan look younger, but did not do so well aging Kaif. The music was mostly great and the cinematography was perfect. Khan and the vivacious Sharma had fantastic, natural chemistry together; Kaif was too stiff at times, however. Unfortunately, around the start of the third hour, when Samar returns to London, the plot becomes less credible and the ending lacks emotional punch. Despite that, it's a movie worth watching, just don't expect to be particularly moved by the ending.

Refreshing, unpredictable, edge of my seat, loved it!!
I was very impressed with this movie! Definitely one of SRK's best! Very well made in every aspect and the story line from beginning to end was well thought out and written. I loved that there were so many twists that really worked and it kept me wondering where exactly they were going to take it. The ending was well done and satisfying. This movie hit all the right spots for me. I will be recommending this movie to others. I guess I should also mention I'm an American.

Such a wonderful story
I had read that this wasn't such a good movie, but I don't see why. I'm so glad I finally watched it - the characters, the drama, the story and the way it was told all kept me glued to the movie from start to finish. I was concerned about how the end would go because of what I had read, but it was actually quite intense and so perfect. I was not disappointed with any part of the movie, up to and including the tribute at the end. Mr. Yash Chopra should be so very proud.

AWESOME ENTERTAINMENT
This was a fantastic movie, absolutely outstanding in score, script, acting and setting. I am a huge SRK fan and I'm hardly disappointed in whatever he does. I was extremely impressed by Anushka Sharma and quite pleased with Katrina Kaif's skills in this movie. I watched this in a movie theater and had the opportunity to enjoy the surround sound fully. The love story as always Bollywood scores high in my books. NOBODY DOES ROMANCE & LOVE LIKE BOLLYWOOD! Highly recommend this heart-warming story of the different seasons of love.
